I remember a Riot August short saying the same thing about when they removed the ability to QSS Zed ult. Everyone flipped their shit screaming “how can I counter it now!?” But his overall win rate went down because people stopped spending 1300 on a magic resist item and just built armor instead

Morde does magic damage so QSS worked much better for him, it's not even close to being the same thing, wasting 1300 gold on a magic resist item vs an ad assasin is truly demential. QSS is still mandatory vs Malzahar if you are a squishy carry, good luck losing the game because malzahar flash ulted you in a crucial teamfight.

​@@KaiserX40the thing w/ Morde is that, if ur hands r good enough, ADCs, main users of QSS, can legit just kite him, which is only rly hard to do if he still has flash up. It's an ENTIRELY different case for Malz as his team can fck u up while under his Ult. In Morde Ult, it's just the two of u and he still has to walk up to u or Flash. Going up against Malz is pretty much the only time anyone should go for QSS, not even WW and Urgot Ult r situations to consider going QSS since someone from the team can just block it, or, if u have the hands for it, just sidestep it

@@Arkantos1900 Darius is another champ who's on their way out of being powercrept out of the game. His only saving grace is that he has no skillshots (Q and E don't really count, imo) and has that super steroid, but he gets kited really hard. His winrate went down by quite a lot in this new patch because adc items have a lot more movespeed, and also fleet speed got buffed. His average wr this patch is 49, which is fucking terrible lol.

As a morde main i use this trick to make people lost to shopkeeper, it work like this: Against people that can cleanse your ult, (olaf, gangplank, etc) ult them as a bait, to make them waste the only counter to the real ability (E), specially if gangplank is full health so he waste that % missing health and mana, and olaf if you can disengage pretty easy (I don't do this one as often, but it has save me) And against qss buyers, if they buy it, they already lost, because i couldn't care less about qss because it doesn't work against Rylai's, so im 1,300 g ahead to my item and i still will kill them because they had no ad, or health(dmg for tanks)

Pretty much what he said. GP's only way of escaping that matchup was oranging Morde's domain. Now he presses R on you and if you're not near tower it's gg for GP. You couldn't ever fight Morde in close quarters as GP before the buff to his R because he just stomps you, GP is not a brawl type of character, not as Morde is. The matchup is ass now and even if you delay Morde scaling as much as possible it's over for you if you don't get a significant advantage over him (2+ kills) because he takes over the game faster than you by pressing a single button.

Good GP players don't even orange his ult unless he's out of barrels, the matchup has never been ass and it's even better after the "buffs" because Morde loses damage while GP is mandatory to go Tri now which is a way better skirmishing item than Essence

Morde is a decent champion, it's just 5 iq iron players that think he is broken and has ''0 counterplay'', in all truth any champ with 0 mobility have 1 million ways to beat them. I was playing Morde once and ulted the Twitch adc and literally killed myself, because mf just pressed ghost and now I was stuck there with him getting kited without being about to hit a single q or e, IN MY OWN ULTIMATE

Cause you're wasting 800 gold to an item that is going to reduce 100 hp healing in the whole laning phase, while you get your first item spike 5 min later. Anti healing is only good on mid to late game, and even then there are a lot of cases in which anti healing does nothing. Fed aatrox will still heal full hp with anti heal

like the guy directly above me said, its less about countering your opponent and more about delaying your item spike. Who wins? Aatrox with a full item profane hydra or jax with heartbound axe phage and exec blade? 40% of 100 healing and middling attack speed and movespeed stats VS nearly 100 damage more on hit with lifesteal ability haste and a cleave even worse, if you build ex blade you then have to build an ex item. Theyre not good

Since no one here explains overhealing: aatrox heals too much, in his ult he heals like 300% of his hp anyway so making that to a 100% is useless, because with or without heal cut he will still heal to full in most cases
