As far as I know, the icon you get from Briar using her ult is under all the players inside the range. So if you used her ult from the middle of the map and every enemy is on it, they will get the mark even if the ult goes the opposite way

they should make briar ult so that you have to hold R to charge it and charging it increases the range so that she can tap it mid teamfight to use it melee range without the insane charge up but also can still cross map it and just change the notification to only proc once the charge up has finished

2:55 ashe ult has no notification. briar ult is only comparatively as strong/weak to ashe ult as the briar casting it is. ashe ult has flat value while briar ult has value linked to her strength- neither should have the notification
