Holy shit i used to work with the HD version of that Panasonic mixer, the HMX 100. Solid machine, used to do live closed circuits, basketball games and news with that.

It’s a neat switcher to figure out and have fun with. It’s surprisingly quite flexible when it comes to it’s Inputs and routing them.

Hi Dave, I like also vintage cams. I've a Sony DVW 709wsp Digital Betacam and 2 Sony DVCAMS. For me the Sony DVW 709wsp has outstanding videoquality. I like to fim with this Cam. The Sony DVW 709wsp feels nice on my shoulder. For Playback I've the Digi Beta VCR Your content is awesome. Greetings from Austria.

Now we’re talking retro camcorder firepower. What awesome gear you have there. I have a Sony DSR300 and a 500 which deserve more attention. Maybe an episode on the 500 with a walk around, kick the tires and a quick drive might be worth tackling soon. Thanks for watching!

Well let me kick in the comment section: I prefer a compact Hi8 stereo camcorder with VCR capability, a custom test tape and a fully charged battery, that way I can test VCRs, TVs, audio equipment on the spot. Some may say why don't use a portable modern media player with audio and video capability, The answer is those media players' analog outputs do not conform to rec.601 analog SD standard.
