This popularity makes them poorly paid. However, most of these jobs do not pay well enough to support her lifestyle. She is only able to have a job that gives her satisfaction because some man is paying for her lifestyle. To do this he has to have a well paid job that is not satisfying. His satisfaction is irrelevant to her.

When men are called upon to assert themselves in frustration, they use their strength, physical aggression. When this tactic is used inappropriately, they are socially crucified. When women are called upon to assert themselves in frustration they do not have physical strength to use, so they are manipulative, they lie to socially destroy men. When this tactic is used inappropriately they are not held accountable for the damage to men they cause. This needs to change.

This is the most insightful interview I think I have seen in years. If not ever. I am a man. And I have stumpled through a lot of this struggle with women. Never really understanding why. But it now seems clear to me, that it is because I am a person, who is okay with telling people about my struggles with mental health and in general what I am struggling with. Women always says they want a man to be vulneranbe, but many of the MGTOW-crowd says women never ever want men to show any emotions. But this.. That women want men, who they already know to be strong and resourceful to be vulnerable. It makes things so clear.

This is an insightful observation. This is not grace shown to men. Men are NOT allowed to speak about what angers us,without other people attempting to quell our voice. This is partly because women are legitimately afraid of a man giving full reign to his anger. That is indeed dangerous. Unfortunately,this creates an opening for reverse bullying by protected classes,where men are often continually baited by the weak to test the strong. This is why many men are avoiding marriage anymore. There is a real cost to failing to pass the s##t tests women put men through. In some cases,the consequences are genuinely unfair. If a man and a woman divorce for mere irreconcilable differences, the divorce courts allow an avenue for abuse of men by malicious women. Indeed,it could be said that the court system has been deliberately set up to abuse men

Please, he sounds so wise, he truly is distorted in his so called solution to "the crisis". He occasionally makes a valid point here and there, but missed the mark, generally speaking, on what's going to work. His history of feminism only goes back a few decades, he should read the Seneca Falls declaration of the 1880's where women's hatred of men"officially" began. Here's hoping he eventually gets it, this is a War on Men declared by women.

Re: absence of female empathy. This is a place of intense female self deception. The idea that females are compassionate is fixed and rarely changeable. Thinking " I know I care", prevents any examination of one's own actions, and what those actions show to be the truth. This extends into the family law courts. In which provable instances of legally defined parental neglect, perjury, and theft, on the part of my son's mother were ignored. That's a form of female entitlement that I would never have believed until I witnessed it first hand. As a male I live in the "upside down world". My relative silence helps me survive. So it looks like all the economic loss and psychological pain in fighting to stay in his life has paid off. I know and work with many young men in their 20's who were fatherless. I see in them incomplete development and personal frustration. My son, who has just turned 16 is by comparison more mature both intellectually and emotionally. The very insights that Farrell cites about the need of kids for both parents has been confirmed in my own experience.

It's a tricky thing to have a woman ask you out to dinner, because most women feel it is beneath them to 'throw themselves at a man', as they put it. A guy has to ask almost always, and when you ask out and dont pay it looks cheap regardless of your explanations. When I pay for a woman, I dont really care for money, it just feels I am bribing her to tolerate my company. It sets her as a prize whom I need to impress. Interesting comment. I agree that if you (male or female) ask someone out, it is implied that you will also offer to pay. Dating is a complicated dance and can really tell you a lot about the other person. It sounds like Warren is very careful to not actually ask women out but to make dates a mutual decision, in which case I suppose it makes sense to split the check. He also seems to be looking for a partner who rejects traditional gender roles as he does, so boldly making that clear during the first date is a great idea to weed out any women with a more traditional outlook.

When I want to love a man and be his support I’m told I’m letting him be a man by other men. as a mother I want my son to be valued for his ability to show care not his wallet. But also I want my daughter to be valued for herself not for how she can make a man “feel like a man”. We’re in it together, it’s just more women voicing their opinions...we need men to fearless voice theirs. And yes some women are toxic to that cause as some men are toxic to it as well...let’s stop blaming each other and working together truly.

This is FANTASTIC! I have had the same experience of seeing the lack of empathy of women - particularly young women - towards men. When I have tried to suggest that there are men's feelings to take into consideration, there is a ferocity and anget that I am gob-smacked to see. I am now a widow of a man who explained his side to me over the years. I had to learn empathy to the roie of men that is foisted on the men in society. I had my "anger period" in my youth. I was part of the original Betty Friedan/ Gloria Steinem period of feminism that we called "Consciousness Raising" back in the 1970's. I uncerstand that it is difficult to quell someone's anger. It is a necessary part of the process, I think. We need to move through the anger and heal up the hurt and trauma. I ask young women to look at their little boys and see how they want the world to be for them.

The destruction of boys/men is the *goal* of feminism. Read prominent feminists' writings, listen to feminist leaders'/teachers'/professors' speeches & lectures. Watch what feminists *do* to men/boys every time men/boys try to work on their problems. Remember the feminists pulling fire alarms in multiple locations every time fathers got together to talk through their issues with the family courts? Remember feminists attacking Boy Scouts until they let in girls, and now bIy Scouts have to have all-female groups? Remember the Temperance Movement smashing up bars & setting them on fire so their husbands couldn't have a a moment's peace? Remember the "equal pay" feminists assaulting businessmen & staging riots in front of businessmen's homes? Why would feminists want to make the world better for their boys when they *hate* their boys just as they hate all other boys/men? Instead, feminists are force-feeding boys soy & psychotropic drugs, and injecting them with hormones to turn them into "trans girls." And if the boys resist, then feminists either throw them in jail or murder them. Have you ever noticed that the vast majority of parents who abuse &/or murder their children are mothers (especially single mothers)? Feminism is just gender marxism, and there is only one ideology more violent/destructive than marxism.

4:58 - when people are silenced... There are 2 ways by which people deal with each other: discourse (negotiations), or violence (war). When one side of a discussion removes the other side's ability to speak & be heard, what alternative does that leave the side that is silenced? (I'm not supporting violence here. I'm merely pointing out historically verifiable fact.) This is an issue that is true in so many circumstances, yet it is continually ignored by one side who then tell the silenced side that they're not worth listening to because they're angry about their original problem & now also angry about having been silenced. Then this guy goes off talking shit about MGTOW, knowing full damn well that most MGTOW got destroyed by the feminist family court &/or false accusations made by feminists. They're not wrong. They're logical. When they talk about "feminized language," they're talking about how people like Farrell dismiss their actual problems & instead only want to talk about feelings. Instead of realizing & addressing the horrific treatment of men/fathers in feminist family courts, people like Farrell want to badmouth men for not bending over & spreading their cheeks wide enough while the feminists ram the boot of family courts up their asses.

There are many ideas in this discussion that are set up as men vs. women, and that's just not beneficial because it's so contested, especially about something like #metoo that is both useful for women, as well as a possibility for exploitation (see what happened to Al Franken). I believe that there are a lot of womens issues that women should be discussing among themselves, and vice versa a lot of mens issues that men need to discuss among other men. For instance the "men don't cry" is a men vs. men issue much more than a men vs. women issue. Men and women doing better and getting their issues heard and dealt with is not a zero-sum game where one sex wins or loses, and there are very clear examples of for instance women (especially minority women) not being heard in the healthcare industry by male doctors that need to be addressed, but a lot of issues are best dealt with as women vs. women, or men vs. men, i.e. concepts that are cultural and need to be addressed as cultural problems.

To be honest, that's one of the reasons why I'm reluctant to work my ass off and have a relationship again : women in general are too radical in their feminism to even see clearly about the issue. We need to understand both sides, not just women's side or men's side. Thankfully, men like Warren Farrell help to go in this direction. But to be honest, even though he knows what he's talking about and how to communicat efficiently, it's by having more and more women to acknowledge it as well and doing something about it that the shift to an equal understanding of both parties will be truly possible. I say this because radical feminists will tend to easily discredit Warren because he's a man and it can be pointed at as he only wants to ''opress and to still live in a patriarchy''. If it's women who talk for men, yes they can have backlash from their female peers but it's more likely that it won't because it seems so counter-intuitive that others would tend to have questions about it more than anger or rage (at least that's how I see it). In any case, let's do our best to change things for the better.

Lol women are too radical in their feminism 😂😂 please. What they're too radical in is there collective gender egoism and gender narcissism. Most women wouldn't even know the history of feminism or what it was really supposed to be about (a long long time ago). Feminism is just another hate movement now. I equate it with white supremacy, it's female supremacist. Calling yourself a feminist now is just as good as calling yourself a white nationalist, ie, a hate monger and bigot.

My basic 5 rules for men (as a man myself) - teach them for boys 1. Build your physique by doing, for example, weight lifting, hard exercise, etc. 2. Be logical, critical, inventive, and problem solvers 3. Love and like women and appreciate them for their female qualities (opposite sex qualities) 4. Be just and helpful 5. Appreciate men who follow above 4 rules
@unfortunatebeam
@unfortunatebeam 7 ай бұрын
Lol your first one is build your physique? Why? You think boys should have the same feminine body neurotic concerns that women do? Would your first rule for women be to get a small waist with muscular legs and a big butt and boobs? Leave body aesthetic concerns for women. Men got enough problems without that, although I would agree that being strong (which you don't necessarily have to be well built for) is important for men. Btw, men don't have to like and love women if that's not mutually returned, and right now in society and culture that is not returned, what men get in return is casual and systemic male bashing. Men have no cause or reason to like women who don't like them. Instead, men should call women out on their casual sexism and bigotry, which they think is acceptable but should know that it isn't.

Men or Women everyone has a choice. Money is an incentive whether or not you are in a relationship. Men feel pressured to be the provider I agree. You can question if this women is only hear for the money but you need to accept that money is always one of the many reasons she is there. This is unfair and does deserve sympathy and compassion it is a sacrifice to go to work but it is also a sacrifice to not. In the end the man makes that choice when having a family maybe society sees it as an expectation but you get to decide what you want. I had a boyfriend. He wanted me to move into a house with him. The house was his dream I was content with an apartment or a trailer. He had a college education I three years his younger was working a shit job living with my parents saving money. I was straight forward with him about my wants I wanted to follow my bliss and was willing to sacrifice the money, cars, college education, I wanted to save up enough money to live simply and be an artist while working a minimum wage job. I only agreed to the house if he was comfortable paying every expense solely on his own while I focus only on my passion and quit my job as well. That's the deal he took it. His choice he could have accepted my no and us continue dating eventually living in a trailer where I pay my fair share. Or he could have found a women who was willing to pay 50/50 for a house. Life is a give and take men have expectations of their partners as well. If you want more you have to work more. We are now married with a baby on the way and I still don't have a job never will. I will sacrifice the "Lifestyle if that mean I get to spend more time with my husband and my baby." He's the one who is searching for the glory of the impressive home and perfect family to make society proud and his family and friends envious. If my husband felt pressure he put that on himself. A wife should not put that expectation on her husband but women should not be blamed if he does it himself. If my husband wanted to quit his job and do what I do; It is not fair for him to ask me to step up and pay for the house I never wanted. He'd have to sacrifice the house and nice things and downsize. Childcare is minimum $10 per hour. When it comes to childcare he will benefit by me staying home he is saving $5 dollars of his paycheck. We could switch roles but I will never make as much money as he does. I accepted at a young age you can't be an artist following your passion and afford the life of the middle class. Man or women you get to choose your passion or being comfortable. As a women I love the message this man is sending. I still respect and love my husband and if we have a son I want to raise him with a sense of his feelings matters he deserves love without doing anything. I would love my husband if he didn't offer me this lifestyle but I also love myself and ain't going to slave away at a job I hate for a lifestyle I never agreed with.

Makayla Ludwig: well, your statement that you would love your husband anyway rings a bit hollow when reading that women earn more money today yet (according to O-magazine) only 3% of stay at home souses are male. Also, if your husband chose not to accept the offer (you kindly gave him) I suspect, you might remember loving your current husband, but you would have found a different man who would accept your fair offer. Enjoyed reading your post. You made a good point. Your. . . Attitude. .does sound a little like women who say, ‘well, the person who invites someone on a date should pay’ while women for the very most part don’t ask men out.

Warren has put into word what I suspected from an early age. I now recognise my “rebellion” as a will to defy the expectations of society on my as a man. I’ve mostly succeeded. Choice is the first prize. We must question what we’re doing and why. When we know ourselves we can pursue what we want which will lead to fulfilment.

The more and more I hear Dr. Farrell talk about "The Boy Crisis", the more fascinated I am. I think this is a very enlightening talk. I am looking forward to seeing how he and Cassie Jaye talk and discuss gender equality.

As Islam teaches, the middle path is the correct path. Dr Farrell is an embodiment of this.

Wise words though they are not applicable in every situation. It is a fallacy that the truth is always found on the middle ground. Sometimes the truth resides on just one side.

Islam also teaches rape, murder, and marrying little girls. Is that the right path as well?

To be honest all these problems could be easily solved by following 1 Corinthians chapter 7! Most people should not be married or have children.

And women don't need to to do better? Get real. It's women these days that have to demonstrate better behaviour, and that they're not all scummy gender bigots and hate-mongers.
