Dear Dr. Li, please do not change the way you make your videos, the comprehensiveness, the complete discourse, the huge amount of information is so great, that is what most of the people can never receive from doctors around. Your videos, your time and commited explanations are such a precious gift to the people. 😊♥️

Dr Li I love the way you present the information-you’re an engaging educator and easy to follow and learn. Thank goodness you don’t speak in bullet points and outlines. The reason it’s so easy to take in the information is because it’s like a conversation and you’re so engaging.

Dr. Li, Your discursive and friendly, casual style makes the scientific and often complex information you offer to your listeners more understandable and helpful than any other lecturer on the internet. I am learning more from you than I did in school,. You make information actually accessible and practical to put into practice. Your advice causes me to pay attention to what I am eating and doing to and for my body and well-being. Cannot thank you enough.

Also the side facts around the food are very important and appreciated - where to find, how to cook, healthy cooking instruction, recipies, tips how to use in the kitchen, food cultural backrounds - all of that is so interesting and helpful. I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Li's videos. You can really somebody who love what he is talking about. Thank you! 🦄🍵🌿

So true that we DO want the details. I am highly likely to make better & better food choices when I "get" the process & benefit. I am talking about understanding I can add an extra herb or other ingredient to further enhance & ramp up the nutrotion of a dish. An example of this is in making avocado toast. Adding a sautè of olive oil (EVOO), chopped arugula, red onion, crushed black cumin seed, (cilanto, if wanted) to the avocado toast.

All good points for a healthy diet Dr. Li. I can see how dedicated you are to helping us regain control over our bodies. I had a wake up all last October with emergency gall bladder surgery. It had also inflamed my liver, and pancreas. The surgery was a success, but I nearly died from acute pancreatitis. 17 days in hospital and a long home recovery that is just starting to feel normal a year later. My doctor placed me on a strict modified Mediterranean diet that has worked out very well. Contains many of your recommendations. Caffeine was taken away, but I do enjoy organic decaf green tea. What you are saying makes good sense. I have one of your books, along with several Mediterranean cookbooks from Italy, Greece, etc. and look forward to regaining a healthy, productive lifestyle. ~ Diane

I was diagnosed with arthritis many years ago. I saw my doctor last week and he checked my joints and they are all normal. I watch what i eat no processed foods lots of fruits and veggies. I eat very little tomatoes because it's a night shade and its not good for inflammation. I just don't understand why people include tomatoes in tneir diet. Its not good. Since i retired from my business, my health is so much better. I firmly beleive that stress can also cause health problems if you don't have a healthy lifestyle that includes heslthy eating habits and exetcise.

18:09 - Disagree. It really is quite simple: eat a whole food diet. Limit processed foods (eliminate entirely if possible). Eat leafy greens and fruits with fiber and anthocyanins. Drink plenty of water. It’s not that difficult. If you follow a whole food diet and avoid anything processed, you will see results quite quickly and eliminate the risk for many diseases and health issues linked to ultra-processed foods. My general rule of thumb as I shop at grocery stores is to avoid anything with added sugars, too. Some seemingly healthy or benign foods (such as whole yogurt) can have added corn syrups, etc. The only processed foods I eat are still whole food based - RX bars or Perfect Bars, for example, where the latter’s only added sugar is natural honey. The ingredients are all still real foods. Eat real foods, avoid processed junk, and avoid added sugars. It’s not rocket science.
@debrapolenz2928
@debrapolenz2928 19 күн бұрын
Frankly, that is not so simple either. Such as when you get bread and it says whole grain, it’s not necessarily whole grain at all. And with food prices, such as they are trying to eat a healthy diet on low income and increased prices is anything but easy!!

Vitamin c is heat sensitive, so the cherry tomato cookdown you suggest does not actually work with the 154 mg of vitamin c. The only way it would work would be shifting the equation to increasing the tomato cups by double or more to make up for the subtantial oxidation of vitamin c through heated preparation.

I did this diet years ago - ended up spending months in and out of hospital because it turns out I am allergic to nightshades- and this diet triggered a MASSIVE inflammatory response. I am now allergic to citrus, nightshades, berries and nuts. Was not allergic to anything other than eggs before I tried this ‘anti inflammatory’ diet.

Very interesting information. But about the apples: I mean WHY would someone even grow them like that since people who aren't aware of the danger ARE going to buy them and feed them to their entire family unknowing that they are feeding their children and their rest of their family poison. There was a musician, famous to the younger crowd, I don't remember her name but she just came back from a foreign country and she said that she ate food there that when she eats it HERE makes her sick but when she ate it in the foreign country did NOT. We have to do better.

Dr. Li, The only thing about this way of eating is it’s hugely expensive for those of us whom struggle to find money for food. We know organic food is great but if you can’t afford it…..could you make a video on how to eat right affordably, & perhaps create a chart of food choices. Giving up gluten & dairy well that’s not something I can do. I had a scare with a sudden rise in A1C #. I cut out many things, losing weight, eating fruit, etc., however even though it’s said if you eat less sweets etc. you stop craving them, I found after several months my cravings came back! Grrr, and as a diabetic if you eat too few carbs and go keto you can develop keto acidosis which can kill you! I never knew this until I did a lot of research on diets and that is scary since many diabetics wouldn’t even know or have ever heard of keto acidosis. This is only a danger to the diabetic not to the normal dieter and is crucial info. Your information is terrific, a lot to take in, and make sense of without further guidance. Plus eating a lot of citrus or taking vitamin C. If you have a CGM can cause in accurate readings when you first put it in. So there are concerns that we have others might not. Unfortunately, as a diabetic practically every time I eat, I get not tired but groggy, it’s very frustrating and ridiculous! I cannot use soy or fake milks. They’re disgusting and without the sugar forget it. Cream is the best thing for diabetic to use in coffee, less carbs believe it or not. There’s actually less carbs in whole milk than there is in reduced fat milk. There’s so many things. It’s very hard to do anti-inflammatory diet and a diabetic diet won’t put you in keto and not eat all those things you tell us not to eat. Is there something more realistic we can do for an all-around good diet for a diabetic?

Hi Dr Li just wanted to ask a question listening to you is very very informative and I like when you say something you always back it up with saying the research was done on every topic you talk about but when you talk about tomatoes are good for our body in one of you KZbin videos other doctors always say tomatoes is bad especially the seeds so can you explain to me what and why they would say this fruit is bad for our gut. Also when you say cinnamon sticks are good for us you never mentioned if it the Ceylon cinnamon because I never knew the Ceylon sticks is better for someone with diabetes so please Dr Li can you explain to me

Dr. Li you are a great source of information. Is there any research on the link between local honey and allergy relief. I have been having a teaspoon of local honey each day in my coffee. I have really bad allergies to mold, tree and grass pollens and the weeds. I would love to hear any knowledge you have on this. Much love and organic eating from my food Forrest. ❤❤

The problem with using nut milk for coffee is that most people are going to buy the stuff that comes from the supermarket which is full of other crap to make it shelf stable.

I have been drinking the pur-eh tea everyday for the last 4 to 5 months. I have lost visceral fat according to my tape measure, 2 inches on the waste. I bought a scale that measure fat, skeletal and my visceral fat markers went from 10 to 8 on their chart which is in the green zone = good. It also says my skeletal mass is in the good range when my last Dexascan promoted me to osteoperosis. I have been using celtic and himalayan salt ever since and trying to eat an alkaline diet. So I hope that now these minerals are being absorbed to get the "good" results. I will get another Dexascan next year and see if I'm reversing this bone disease.
