I’m a CK+ Player Myself (albeit not as a Nuzlocke, in fact I’m not even a nuzlocker). and the concept of Meganium being good let alone the best at anything is still complete nonsense to me.

@@ultimapower6950 Tbh after i look up the numbers i just realized how insanely overbuffed Meganium is in CK+ It basically gets Choice Specs without any downside whatsoever due to Giga Drain I think Meganiums toolkit is also underrated as a whole(it was the best Gen 2 starter in competitive as well after all). But the part where it gets free choice specs relative to Vanilla is such a huge upswing to how good it can get. Had CK+ works like vanilla games, Meganium basically become pseudo legendary with base 150 special attack in CK+ compared to vanilla. For comparison, Feraligatr is actually relatively extremely nerfed since one of the strongest part about it was the surf power spike on Ecruteak

It's because nuzlockes used to be in piss easy games and the challenge was really just to try to keep them all alive, the modded games are so hard that now the challenge is to get through it at all (and even the best players, who calculate and know when to sacrifice, often fail runs)

@@pa7764 Honestly I'd probably argue that- if the main way to play games such as various "___ kaizo," radical red, run and bun, etc.- that they are too hard. If a game is so difficult that after over a year 19 people have beaten it EVER, then the game is poorly designed. Also, the popular-on-youtube nuzlockers have this aura about them that screams "look how fucking good at the game I am," but then someone like wolfey comes along and beats EK on what? His second attempt? It makes them all look like fools lmao

It feels really weird that the level cap still applies to XP gained in the tower. If you were trying to simulate how much XP you'd have at this point in a normal playthrough, then capping the starting level makes sense, but why penalize you for gaining XP as you go through? Edit: I saw multiple overleveled pokemon in that final fight Kevin did. Why were those legal?

I always did a nuzlocke with my friend but after every badge we would battle and set rules like You have to trade a random number 1-6 Pokémon but winner can fill it with duds Or you have to trade evolution with me. You have to kill a Pokémon on a dice roll of 2-6 Roll a 1 and your safe Or my personal fav pick a route they can’t have an encounter- If your party dies in the battle with friend then they not actually dead in nuzlocke how ever I have tried that it’s bloody tough 😂 Also go off the actual route with nuzlocke I see so many people catching 101 in emerald but then look where it says you got your starter or they change area thinking oh it’s another encounter when it’s not haha one route / name per Pokémon
