Until some time in 2014, this crossing was a lights-only crossing with a Westinghouse hybrid bell mounted on the western signal on the right-hand side of the road. I remember passing the crossing on the train back home from Melbourne in August 2011, when it still had incandescent lights. The street view pictures from March 2014 show that the lights had been replaced with clear LED flashers since then, and by the end of the year, it had been replaced with the new gated signals, as the pictures from January 2015 show the new signals, looking freshly-installed

Apologies for the late reply; All correct! I like that it had incandescents which were captured by Google Maps, then captured with clear led's, before getting gated. Almost feels pointless installing LED's on the gateless signals, however they probably didnt know they would gate it a few years later. Who knows... Despite loosing a hybrid, I dont mind the new setup.

Great video, and good thinking uploading it on the day the Shepparton line changed to Vlocities. I also wanted to know if anyone can tell me the frequency of Sprinters on the Seymour line (when/which services they typically run and how many a day etc). Thanks.

Thank you! The V/line website can show that but usual frequency is around every 40 minutes : )

Is there any way to find out which services are Sprinters and which are Vlocities? Or does it always change?
@ethanthevictorianrailfan7030 Жыл бұрын
@@therealsammyvee888 Yes, there is a way to find out. www.vline.com.au/Plan-trip-buy-tickets This is the Vline Journey Planner website, and when you put in your start and end stations to the set date and click "Search journeys" it will show all the scheduled trains for that day and what type of train they are. Also the stations are only V/Line stations
