Thank you so much for your at home treatment suggestions. I went to an eye doctor who prescribed Restasis (which was too expensive) and told me to stop wearing eye makeup (which I didn't want to do). After watching your videos, I started a routine of cleaning my eyelids and using drops twice a day, and I re-evaluated my eye makeup. My symptoms have vastly improved. Please continue with these videos.

It’s nearly impossible to find somebody who does that microblephaxion procedure.. Any recommendations?

What are you recommended drops for the evening? My eyes never bother me during the day. I use drops midday. At night - lids seal up. Optometrist recommended certain drops at night (has been trial/error as to which ones work). I currently use drops before bed and a bit of Vaseline on lashes/lids - that helps them stay "unsealed" - Have added flax seeds/pharm grade fish oil to diet as well.

Doxycycline: Do you cycle it (how often? every quarter/6 months?) and/or just use it before/in the winter? Thanks again.

Dear Dr, when use (low-dose) Steroid & Restasis TOGETHER, should be 15 min or 3-4 hours apart? Just wanted to make sure eyes are lubricated. Thanks. You have been very diligent/helpful.

15 minutes apart is considered adequate! I would do restasis last since the carrier for the cyclosporine is an artificial tear.

Thanks. Ok to apply VitA-POST, many experts from USA recommend this brand, AFTER restasis, before bed time, for a better protection?

but. isn’t restasis a steroid treatment itself?? how can it be longterm then?
@EyeSchoolwithDrD3 жыл бұрын
restasis isn't a steroid, but an immunosuppressant called cyclosporine. it doesn't have the same long term side effects as steroids do thankfully/.
