You should invent a device that has a clay sized light that moves from left to right and right to left across a backyard fence or indoor wall. Speed needs to be about the same as a skeet target, split the differnce and say 47 mph for American Skeet. Does anyone make something like that?

I would say in my efforts to find help with DTL , these recommendations/drills at home make enormous sense. I very much like the idea of learning to mount the gun to the shoulder and cheek once you’ve called for the bird . I find mounting the gun and then calling for the bird , causes me to have insufficient field of vision as I still guessing the flight of the bird from the house - other than from spot 3 . Sincerely thank you , I going to try these recommendations

You can also take a spent shell, cut off the folded plastic at the tip, pop out the primer and jam a small diameter hot glue stick into the hole and cut it flush. The firing pin will hit the glue stick. Cheap and easy. Will last for a very long time.

@GoShooting
@GoShooting 3 жыл бұрын
I have done it for nearly 50 years and have never once broken a spring, not one. What I have seen are people loading live shells into their shotguns thinking they were snap caps. I forbid my kids to even think about loading a snap cap into a chamber of a shotgun. If it's empty it's safe. I will wear the cost of a spring, but not a life.
