Dry Fly Fishing the Tiny Stream for Wild Brown Trout

This was filmed in June 2021 but I never got around to editing the footage! I got on my bike to get to my local urban stream as I was between jobs so without a car. That meant no waders but it was so warm I was happy to do a bit of wet wading whilst getting hooked into a lot of trees and a few of the wild brown trout in this small and very low stream.

Tight fishing. Look into a small tenkara rod setup for tight spots.

Great video and I really empathise. My local river is overgrown and I forget how many time I’ve caught overhanging trees, reeds, bushes, etc. makes it really satisfying when you hook a fish. That first one was lovely! Keep up the great work

Love your videos Paul. I definitely think if you practice your casting you'd have a better return on the water. There are techniques that enable you to whip the fly in or out depending on how you load the rod on your forward cast. Honestly it makes a big difference. Tight lines for the upcoming season.

I use maxcatch 4#, it’s a 3# rod, the reel is by chalk stream I think
