Hi Euan. Thanks mate. My layout has evolved over the last few years. It now fills a 6 meter x 4 meter garage. There is a 18 track fiddle yard under a blank area yet to be scenic'd and an automated shelf layout (Hence the name) running the the full 6 meter length above. According to Anyrail, the total track is around 150 meters. I am planning to add an additional 3 meter x 1.5 meter area and an extra 25 meters of track in the form of a TMD in the near future. N Gauge would have been amazing! But buying N Gauge in NZ is almost impossible. There are only a handful of model shops in the whole country (not all of them sell N Gauge). I think the nearest place to buy locos of any size is about a 3 hour drive from my house. Which, when you consider I actually live in the Capital City (Wellington) is crazy!! Ordering, second hand from the UK is about the only option, but freight prices are sky high. Hattons Trunk service was the way to go, but sadly no longer. Cheers, Andy

Amazing size you have for the OO gauge. Pity models shops are scarce in NZ especially as Hattons are now no more.
