Love these fun ideas, France! I love to use dry wall tape with my mixed media projects and have used it as a stencil with acrylic paints. I've not see it used this way before.

That tape can be painted with metallic paint in gold, silver, copper, etc (also in other colors) and used in similar ways or as backing for framed elements, a great inexpensive resource

Loved the idea of the drywall tape, and got some. Is yours made of Fiberglass too? Just got a roll to try this. Love the texture it gives both ways ... used as a stencil for sponging or layered as one of the card elements. Thanks for the share!

the dry wall tape I have had for years is blue. I didn't know it came in white and haven't tried to color the blue.... I'll get it out again, thanks!

Virginia Pender you can paint it, stick it on craft mat, paint it white, really looks fabulous with metallic paints
