If I could give advice to the person home pressing his flower into rosin it would be that recovery percentage is hugely strain specific and 15% returns is good for some strains but with some strains I’m pressing 20 - 24% returns. Wedding Cake gave me 24% pretty consistently. Look for strains that are noted for being “greasy” and you’ll be amazed.

So i just finished trimming and jarring up my dried plant...I let it dry for 4 days only but it was at 40 percent humidity so it dried quickly. I had left the water leaves on it and the bud was dry enough that I didn't want it to dry any more and I 9:54 actually got a couple quart jars two thirds full. It's Caramelo early version and I've tried some..wow! Some mutch better tasting than what I pay real money for and as good or better than the dispensary. I've got my next plant seedling started...I am super stoked. Just gotta remember to burp my jars every day. Thanks to Dudes grow for all the great advice!

Have you guys heard of galenas cannabis in Michigan, I’m a student at csc and they wrote curriculum for us, they grow with no additives, just living soil and it’s the best Bud I’ve ever seen, smelled, and smoked

I was taught synthetic nutrients can damage the soil food web, causing certain sections to completely die off, feeding full nutrients is like giving a plant an iv vs giving it food in the form it like and being able to create relations with the bacteria and fungi like it naturally likes

I'm playing around with a stand up freezer that I converted to a drying chamber. I popped a couple 4" holes in it for some intake and exhaust. Im also using inkbird temp and humidity controllers to maintain the environment. It works great for maintaining temperature but humidity is more of a challenge once the buds start drying out and the humidity drops below the 60% setpoint. I'm a little weary about adding a humidifier in such a small space with my fresh harvest.

The hay smell will go away if youkeep it moist. Get those hunidity equilibrium packets and burp. When the noxious smell is fading remove the packets. The packets absolutely affect the flavor in a way i would not describe as positive, but i do enjoy how it affects the smoke. I live in the desert so grows dry out in 5 days easy.

My buddy n his wife converted a descent size garage to 2 air bnb rooms. They charge $140 a night and both units are occupied probably 75% of the time. How is the cannatrol? I’m really debating about one … I live in Hawaii and it’s hard to get it cold enough with out using a AC I figure running a cannatrol for 10-12 days is would be the best route set it and forget it …
@bobbysmoothstick10 ай бұрын
its cool but there are some drawbacks. It only cools to about 10 degrees lower than your room temp. Plus there is a sponge that comes with the unit that you need to keep moist. It dries out every couple of days. If you do not rehydrate the sponge, your crop will dry out. @@chrisdomingo9143

Push air through carbon filter with pre filter placed inside the filter. Saves a ton of tent space to push air through with fan and filter outside, IMO. And insulated duct for noise reduction, as effective as a duct muffler and when paired with one nearly silences the whole shabang. I like the carbon filter pad rolls, cut to fit for replacing the carbon filter prefilter.

If you need to add humidity to a room and don't have the cash. Hang a moist clean (sterile) towel in your room in front of a fan. It will add humidity but you will need to spray the towel a few times a day with a spray bottle. (Use pure RO water if you can ) depending on how low your humidity is and how much air movement you have will really determine how often you need to re-spray ; But it does work, when you are in a clench and don't have the funds.

Integra packs are decent, but the buds just not the same, I’m way to picky and I do not like weed (rehydrated) . Properly dried +cured fresh weed with the proper moisture content within the bud (12%) is what I prefer. Also integra packs kinda take a little flavour away, in my experience. Again I’m wayyyy to picky so I’m speaking from a snob point of view
