I am not a Muslim but I love listening to the good Doctor’s observations and opinion. I don’t believe for a single moment that a beard, growing, cutting or length has anything whatsoever to do with entering Jannah. It would be a miserable and intolerant Allah who would refuse Jannah to an otherwise observant follower of the core beliefs of the Quran. Brother on the day of judgment day the people the beards the prophet pbuh will be able to tell that’s his people becusse they followed the sunnah. As we’re told grow the beard and trim the moustache that’s what makes us different from the pagans. As far as concerned we only know for sure that one sahabi trimmed his beard ,but from what we see ,from the description of the beard of the prophet ,Abu Bakr, abu omar ,ali, their beards filled their chests further more ibn omar did that only on omra or 7aj he never said the prophet said it or did it, it was his own diligence

If you follow the manhaj of Salaf does'nt mean all they do is a same opinion, some muslim said Umar bin Khattab trim their beard is disobey from sunnah coz the hadist said let the beard grow also few imam of mahdzab said it so. But in Dr.Zakir opinion said there's no hadist about beard length so if you nof find the prophet example see the sahabah, so it does'nt mean Umar is mistaken coz they do what the prophet do, is grow the beard in fist size but not too long maybe one month without trimed this fatwa by syekh Al Banni, n i agree with this

I want to ask the reason shaving a beard is banned under Islam. My mum says I should shave just so I don’t get picked on because of having a beard. And shaving face feels better. I don’t like beards. My mum said since I have autism god will understand if I shave my face. And if shaving a beard is haram why does the army tell you to shave even in Pakistan? is shaving or trimming beards allowed for anything? even for cleanliness?

i don’t take fatwa of albani because even a “salafi” scholar who follows albani said that albani made sahih hadiths dha’if and made dha’if hadiths sahih so i personally trust bukhari and muslim and ibn maja and tabarani and nasa’i and other earlier muhaditheen frim salafi salh to say a hadith is authentic or not and Ahmad deedat may allah have mercy on him did this and allah knows best.. if dr zakir took something from Ahmad deedat he wouldn’t have agreed with albani but at the end of the day saudi scholars are mostly wahabis and their mufties didn’t give fatwas according to the sunnah or the 4 madhabs. just recently i heard a salafy scholar say that according to shafi’i madhab it’s haram to shave beard but it’s not haram it’s makrooh so he’s saying things without knowledge and if he knew that would be a (buhtan) so i advise you to take rulings from the 4 madhabs as they were salafu alsalih but of course ask for the hadith for example imam nawawi was a shafi’i and he came after buxari and muslim and whatever he says is followed by shafi’i scholars coz he has the hadith to back it up. so be aware of likes of albani who changed the authenticity of hadith after 1200 years that scholars followed and trusted it’s like dr zakir saying that this hadith in sahih buxari is week of course i will trust imam buxari more than any scholar now

Dr zakir got this one clearly wrong This is ijtihad of Abdullah ibn umar We only take what Allah swt and prophet Muhammad peace be upon Say. Hadiths are clear, yes length is not mentioned, but CLEARLY what is mentioned is letting the beard grow Abdullah ibn umar clearly in two sahih Hadiths mentions this. So we can’t take ibn umar of cutting anything below the fist. Also I would love the 10 other Hadiths of the sahaba which did what ibn umar did Clear evidence It was narrated from Ibn `Umar that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم ordered trimming the moustache and letting the beard grow. Sahih Muslim 601 It was narrated that Ibn `Umar said: ``The Messenger of Allâh صلى الله عليه وسلم said: `Be different from the idolators: Trim your moustaches and let your beards grow.'' Sahih Muslim 602 It was narrated from Nâfi, from Abdullâh bin `Umar that the Messenger of Allâh صلى الله عليه وسلم commanded that the moustache be trimmed and the beard be left to grow. (Sahih) Dawood 4199

And if it does then Dr Naik has earlier said that there no phrase saying that the beard has to be kept all along.
