Brother, Ben You won't drink a glass of pure water mixed with a drop of urine. I have studied the Old Testament Abraham(as) story too. When Abraham was given the glad tidings about his son so he wonders how come he could have a son in old age and then he gets a son. Abraham was under the test of obedience and not his wife or concubines. He was happy to have a son. Is this logical to keep the love for his only son for thirteen years in a basket while he did not know how many more kids he was going to have in old age. He even wondered when he got blessed New about Issac(as) through Sarah(as) which he wondered again how come Sarah could bear a son in her old age. It means he did not know that he could have more kids. Now in short, how would you prove that he did not have a love for the only son he had for thirteen years?? What promised son when he never knew he could have any son in old age until he was informed. Just think how Jewish brothers have corrupted the scripture from the beginning. Peace!!
