You got further than I did. I cannot even register my ES 500 because the box contains no serial number for the product category. That is in addition to the regular and expected SN for the machine itself. This might be a good machine, but they do not even tell you how to reach any Help by phone.

Unplug scanner before opening. Then once opened, plug scanner back in and press buttons. Got it

I have a “no disk space” error from my ES500Wii - there is plenty of diskspace 130GB available. I even tried to save the scanned file PDF/A to a drive with 6TB of available space. What is going on here. The scanned document has 768pgs. Does the scanner have an internal memory unit that needs to be purged after so many scans? How do I resolve this error?

I did all the cleaning on my ES-500WR, when I turn on the machine, and hit the scan button my rollers are not rolling, its almost like there is no power? But I see there is power, that the lights are still on.

after I cleaned it with glass cleaner, why my scanner still pop up "THERE ARE STAINS ON THE GLASS INSIDE THE SCANNER"?

Hello! If you have cleaned both parts of the glass and you're scanning with no issues, plus your scans are coming out good, there is an option to turn off the notification for that. Uncheck “glass surface dirt alert” only if you are satisfied with your scans within the Epson ScanSmart app / Configurations / Notification.
