I’m an old head. I prefer sound quality over loud so I would of kept the Infinity Kappas you took out and just added an Audio Control 4.300 and call it a day.

I know this vid is a bit old. But to get a bit more mid bass out of the speakers you can use a speaker cup around them it makes like a mini enclosure for them that way they aren’t just in a free air situation.

Those are just midrange speakers. Gonna need seperate tweeters because those are not gonna play high frequencies or even any kind of midbass. They are louder tho, yeah

The Exl 600 watt version will surprise you. I have them but not hooked up to an amp yet and they already sound amazing. Ds18 speakers are meant to be tuned. Very flexible on the EQ. But yeah all midrange speakers are meant for full sound system setups

@@eDL713 By tuned I hope you're not talking about boosting certain frequencies on the EQ, thats a no-no. I only run deaf bonce Sylvesters & Arnolds, sound great, EQ stays on flat & the fact that it doesn't sound terrible like that tells me a lot about these speakers

If you want more thump out of you door speakers you need add some sound deadner and foam rings. You will get way better sound then what your getting now. Add the sound deadner in the door outside the door and on the inside of door panel. You will be surprised after adding the sound deadner

DS18 Infront and infinity speakers in the rear. bass is good but not a speaker I would rely on for bass. For sound volume tho… sheesh super good bro you’ll be happy
