DS4 Windows is money for DualSense users who want to use their DualSense or DualShock controller to play PC games I've been using it for years. Even when I had a DualShock 4 controller. The settings and the ability to create controller profiles makes DS4 Windows the go to software for DualSense users. I wouldn't recommend using Steam controller either. A tip that you didn't mention in your video. You can pin the DS4 Windows icon to your taskbar and launch it that way as well. That's what I do instead of having to go into the DS4 Windows folder and click on the icon.

Massive tutorials! You actually touched on everything except vibration, I mean settings that will enable the controller to vibrate when playing games. I wish you or someone can help me on that

Hey Frederick again lol, your controller should vibrate by default. If its not vibrating then there could be a litany of issues. It also depends on the game as well. DS4 hasn't fully figured out how to make sure rumble works on every game for PC. But in the meantime what you could do is mess with the rumble settings by editing your profile and going to the "Other" tab and mess with rumble there. That's about all I have on this, again I wish I had more to give, sorry. Thank you so much for watching the video though, I really appreciate it!

That sounds weird, are you sure the controller is connected to the computer via bluetooth or that your computer is bluetooth capable? And are you running any other gaming clients like steam that might get in the way? If neither of these are the problem then is your ps4 controller firm ware up to date?If so then you might just have to run an older version of ds4 windows but I wouldn't know for sure unfortunately. Tricky things like this make tech frustrating because unless I was actually looking at your setup its difficult for me to tell but let me know if any of this helped!

I just installed the main piece of software, was able to open it, installed all the drivers etc that came with it and it was ready to go. Only watched about 2 mins of the video. Hey Frederick, unfortunately every game works differently with ds4 when it comes to vibration. Pc and PS5 Controllers aren't nearly as smoothly compatible as xbox and pc are so I really couldn't say. Amazing tutorial! Is there a way where I can combine buttons to create a special action? For example, I want to be able to press R1 and R2 together to make an R3 action for melee purposes in Warzone. Wow thats a great idea, I've never heard of anything like that on a standard controller. I'll look into it but I really couldn't tell you as of right now

@@chukwubuikemoguagha I’ve figured it out. In the special actions tab, record a macro, but you need to “insert wait” in between each command. Each insert is 100ms, I just edit it to 1ms afterwards. Works like a charm. Try it out.

First thing I'd ask is if the touch pad works fine in other games cause if so then most likely days gone just has a slight bug where the touch pad through ds4 might not work correctly. Hey Nicole, great questions! You don't necessarily need DS4 windows to use a ps5 controller on PC but it can help it perform better. 2. All PS5 controllers work with DS4, I haven't found had a ps5 controller that didnt work with ds4 but remember sometimes some controllers can be funky even if you get them brand new which is an unfortunate truth. My hex gaming controller kept disconnecting from DS4 the first week I got it then all of a sudden it never gave me problems again (I hate tech lol). But recommending a ps5 controller is tough because they're all pretty good, it will really come down to how much you're willing to spend cause they are literally all just ps5 controllers with different back paddle designs and or instant triggers. But if price doesnt matter I'd go with the scuf reflex or scuf reflex fps (both great 4 paddle designs). If pricing does matter then go with the hex gaming rival (great 2 paddle design) or just get the regular ps5 dualsense controller to start and see how you feel first. Lmk how everthing goes Nicole! Interesting, you should be able to just disable cursor movement and you should be good

I installed Forza Horizon 5 from Xbox app in windows 11 laptop. I couldn't connect ps5 controller. But inalready used this method to play Forza Horizon 4 it works perfectly. Only Forza Horizon 5 not working

Hey All Rounder, yea that's weird. Maybe Forza 5's software is different and requires a bit more maneuvering to get a ps5 controller to work. That's the best I can think of. Let me know if you get it up and running

Hey, i have a problem with the touchpad. So, i tried to use it for fortnite (i want to edit with the touchpad) but i can't, it edits with the share button, i tried to put touchpad click on the touchpad but its the same, i tried Share on the touchpad but its the same. I even put unbound on the share button to see if this helps, but its the same. What should i do?

Hey Sandi, if you're still having trouble try restarting the application or reinstalling it. If theres still a problem then maybe you need to update the drivers on your computer but if theres still a problem after that then I wouldn't be able to tell you whats wrong, sorry. I wish I could help better, lmk if any of this works for you

Thats tricky, I don't know whats going on there. I'd have to get on call with you or something to figure that out. Are you sure you're using the right cable and the controller works and your PC is up to date?
