Me too V.C. Sammy Davis took DSB under his wings and became good friends. He told her what not to do when performing in Las Vegas hotels that practiced segregation towards Black performers. Couldn't use swimming pool, sit at the bat, etc. Can you believe such idiocy😔😔😔

I remember this do well Sunday night at the Palladium - I waited all that day for get spores car - it was great of course only my Mother and Gran criticised her mouth etc - my Gran said the I don’t what you are in her, nothing at all. I was heartbroken. I have never forgotten this performance because of it. ❤️😂
