What is the rate of bone graft failure with this sponge graft? I just had one placed after a simple extraction 2 weeks ago and it’s been a horrible time. My body rejected it and formed a huge abscess. My gums were bright red and so swollen after 4 days of it being placed. Yesterday I had to have it all cleaned out of the socket and I feel so much better. Redness on gums has come down a lot in just 24 hours.
