idk what were u thinking about 50mm lens, imo it's more important than ur 100mm lens, it's barely useful for everyday use, u have 10-22mm for lanscape. tele for portrait, so.. what ur everyday lens?

@samraymond215

oh my who spends money on a uv filter. It is actually very hard to scratch lenses by accident and even when they do get scratched it goes completely un noticed on lenses that are wider than say 35 mm (and thats being very conservative). Wiping with your shirt will probably not damage your lens however it doesn't do much to clean it either. Stop being so over protective it will ruin your photography. If you are being too careful you will never go that extra mile for photos. Lens hoods are amazing by the way cause they protect from smashed front elements and work wonders for flaring and lets be honest they look badass.
@TechandDesign
@TechandDesign 8 жыл бұрын
WOW. You actually clean your lenses with your shirt? Really? ... You might not notice all the scratches you have in your lenses , but get a good flash light - point at your lens and you will see all the little and big scratches you have build up over time. Your pictures could be a lot sharper if you used a UV filter to protect your lens. Its cheaper to replace a UV filter than to replace a lens. And never ever use your shirt to clean your lens - come on
@samraymond215
@samraymond215 8 жыл бұрын
+acguevara well i can tell you minor scratches are less apparent than a uv filter. The scratches are so out of focus they can't be picked up, uv filters also wash out your photo, I will take better care of my lenses when they are $3000 + but as for now babying a lens just stops you from getting that shot. As for cleaning with shirts, I try not to but yeah I do it all the time if the lens is wet. Your shirt cannot scratch your lens. And to be honest you rarely need to clean your lens. Smudges and water droplets are obviously gunna ruin a photo but fine specs of dust will do nothing plus you can just blow them off. You're wasting your time with all this bullshit when you obviously aren't a professional.

not really. I have videos that are even worst and they make a lot and others that took a lot of time and are very well done and make nothing. its all about the title and if people find it useful. You could have a really good video but if it doesnt help than its nothing and you could have a video made in 3 seconds that helps a lot so people appreciated. Why did you not recommended the 50mm. That should of been the highest recommended accessory on this list
@TechandDesign
@TechandDesign 8 жыл бұрын
+Connor Moore I know I know. But in the end you would need to buy the expensive 50mm and not the basic one which is very cheap but the quality isnt great so you will end up almost never using it, that is if you got other good lenses
@ConaMooreDesigns
@ConaMooreDesigns 8 жыл бұрын
The 50mm 1.8 is used by pro's and is a very highly recommended lens for the price. it's like £150 and the one up from that is like £1000 upwards. The 50mm is amazing for portraits on a crop censored camera. Plus using primes is the best way to get better at composition and learning photography. I know your video was the best accessories but I'm guessing it was meant to be viewed by amateur photographers or people who do it for a hobby because pro's don't need these videos. Your video might be a bit scary for someone starting out who don't have much money and think there is no point because they can't afford the gear you recommended.
@TechandDesign
@TechandDesign 8 жыл бұрын
+Connor Moore the gear I recommend is like $200 in total. not including the lenses. thats isnt much. Which ever pros use the cheap $150 50mm lens isnt a pro since they know that the quality isnt good. A real pro would use the Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM. And yes a pro would also not be watching this video, wouldnt make sense
@TechandDesign
@TechandDesign 8 жыл бұрын
+Connor Moore the real question is, why are you watching this video?
@ConaMooreDesigns
@ConaMooreDesigns 8 жыл бұрын
acguevara I know a lot of pros that would happily use the 50mm 1.8. And the gear was fine just your reccomendations on lenses was off though. And why arn't they pro if they use that lens? A lot of pros that make a lot of money still shoot film, it's not about the equipment, obviously it helps but the 50mm and 35mm 1.8 are sharp lenses and are really good quality. Gear doesn't define if they are pro or not. The Canon EF 50mm 1.2 is a very big and heavy lens so it might not be fit for purpose, you was talking for yourself and not thinking about people who travel with their camera and don't want loads of weight, it has to be fit for purpose. All I'm saying is don't put people of the nifty 50, it's a extremely highly recommended lens, look around

@DeputatKaktus

I do not recommend packing chargers in your camera bag unless you are sure you can and need to use them where you go (you have what looks like an Eneloop charger in the top pocket there). Otherwise you will just add unnecessary bulk and weight. When in doubt, I throw an extra set of batteries in my bag and leave the chargers at home. For camera batteries I usually stick with genuine ones, even though they might be a little bit on the pricey side. But if you already spent four digits on your camera gear, another 50 or 60 bucks for a spare battery won't kill you. Also, I do recommend getting rid of the neck strap that comes with every camera. They never worked for me...you keep bumping into things, it makes you look dorky and with a heavy lens mounted on the camera your neck is not going to thank you for using them. Your mileage may vary, though. I have used Sun Sniper straps for a long time and only needed to replace one because I lost it somewhere.

That's a small Lowepro Slingshot bag, probably the 102 AW model. I bought one back in 2009 and I'm still happily using it today. It's just right for a DSLR plus lens and two or three additional lenses, hoods, flash, lens filters, etc. I would avoid the larger models, as this smaller bag allows you to comfortably haul around everything that will fit *all day long* without getting tired or annoyed. It has excellent padding to protect your expensive investments and the moveable dividers let you easily adjust the interior to fit your equipment snugly and safely. It's not cheap, but I'm very pleased to have bought it and highly recommend it to everyone.

However if you want to go pro , you will see that you will need a much more expensive camera later on. You also need to think about the lenses. Dont buy cheap lenses, buy the good ones. Cheap lenses from canon are not good at all , the are a waste of money.

Well you could go for entry level camera like Nikon D5200 and then purchase some good Prime and/or Telephoto lenses as per your needs.

Organize your thoughts before shooting a video.Start by being prepared!!!!Don't just go through the motions!!!!This is a weak video, and I only lasted 1 min before I thumb you down and shut your video off.This is to be constructive information not to be critical.I truly was looking for information on the best accessories and you lost me for the above reasons.

I don't ever prepare. I just make a quick video to help people out. It's not like I make anything out of making this video for you guys. Lol.
