I’ve found that these are very very good, I run winches on comp trucks and these on my trail or play trucks and man they are very comparable. If you want to save some cash go dsm as they are amazing . Shoot you can even cut up a dsm for suspension straps and save some coin to . Very good product

I made a kinetic winch for about $5 with some elastic shoelaces, wing washers and an extra hook from my MTB trailer. It was easy and effective. 👍

good show man and yea not allowing dsm setups is just an attack on the ppl dont have all the money they want to throw into a toy ...i boycott organizations like that

I haven’t had any DSM stuff, after seeing the video picked up the kit for my base camp and trx4! Always watch the content, even if it ends up costing my money by buying everything lol

Don't get why it doesn't use the stock fairlead in the bumper

A couple of reasons, the stock fairlead opening is too small, but most importantly, you can still run a servo winch and use the bumper fairlead giving you the choice of kinetic or servo winch depending on your needs at the time.

On the dsm, if 1 were to 'wax' it, chapstick or wax, wouldn't it help extend the life of the cable?
