Sorry, I did not understand properly. My speed is 1Gbps max and this router has 100M LAN connection. In the video at 3:18 the App is showing 64Mbps bandwidth. The Wi-Fi extender speed over the wireless connection shown at 5:47 is 2MB/s (i.e. 16Mbps), which is expected for a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. I hope I answered your question. So, now I put the Repeater router closer to the main router and everything seems to be stable now. But I use this router only for my smart devices and security cameras. My main routers for computers and smartphones are different as shown here: kzbin.info/aero/PLwVhK5pSX620wiDWiXxnbbI5n6wOzpqzC. So, I cannot give a good picture of how much this router is good to handle many high load devices. If you want to use it as a repeater for daily usage, I recommend a wired repeater mode using a LAN cable between the main router and the repeater. Thanks.

Yes you can change the WiFi channel on wired repeater. The difference between a wired/wireless repeater and the primary base station is that the Networks will be bridged in the repeater mode. That means the repeating router will have the same IP configuration of the base network and all the IP addresses connected to it will be allocated by the base router's DHCP. A base station works as a router creating it's own network config with NAT and allocate the local IP addresses to the connected devices. It will use a single WAN IP. I hope it's clear. You Should reset the router before making it an extender. If you are using the Mi WiFi app, you should turn off mobile data when you are trying to do the settings. In your case, the ISP modem WiFi router will have to be the main router. And then you can use the Xiaomi Router as an extender by connecting to the modem WiFi. You can use the RJ45 ports of the 4C to connect to your computers. My new router is on but miwifi app is searching and showing no new unparied wifi

If your tp link router has the WiFi repeater option then it is possible to use it to extend the Mi router network. What is your TP Link router model? If it doesn't have a repeater function then you have to use it as the main router and use the Mi router as extender. Thanks.

Bro please help me as per your opinion I have bought a tp- router wr840n when I am using this as a repeater it's not showing repeater ssid but by lan cable WiFi is usable in laptop.my main router is mi 3c.

Yes you can set a different WiFi SSID and Password for the repeater network. For the Wired Repeater, the steps are the same as the wireless repeater mode. First. connect the LAN cable from your main router to the WAN port of the Mi Router. And select Wired Repeater Mode at step 4:15. The rest should be the same. Thanks.

You have to make sure that the Router in Repeater mode is getting good WiFi signal from the base station. You can try positioning it closer to the main router. You can check the network condition in the App where it should say Strong Source. I hope it helps. Thanks.
