Klamath Falls (/ˈklæməθ/ KLAM-əth) is a city in and the county seat of Klamath County, Oregon, United States. The city was originally called Linkville when George Nurse founded the town in 1867. It was named after the Link River, on whose falls the city was sited. The name was changed to Klamath Falls in 1893.[8] The population was 20,840 at the 2010 census.[9] The city is on the southeastern shore of the Upper Klamath Lake and approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of the California-Oregon border.
Logging was Klamath Falls's first major industry.

Loved seeing this. I remember traveling there and buying our ranch just east of Klamath Falls in 2005'. The air is so pure, the water tastes delicious (excellent well), and the rivers are marvelous. Downtown was rebuilt from practical ruins. It's not perfect, but the people are friendly and it's clean. Oregon Technical University was built by an Oregon professional rodeo cowboy, and ALL of the sports programs in the schools are very good. I enjoyed seeing the old buildings and the Raglan Theater. Another good road trip is to head east on 140 through to Lakeview. Wonderful geological features allover Klamath County...in addition to the beautiful wildlife. Ranches are suffering terribly because of water restrictions however. The cost of ranching and farming has become prohibitive for many, and the fire danger is very high. Thank a Democrat.

I have a honest question, I hear so many good things about Oregon and so many bad as well. Do Oregon really have a problem with black people? Is it really racism towards black people? Iam looking to buy another house and Oregon has been one city I remember visiting when I was younger and felt at home. Iam concerned for me and my family if it is racism towards blacks, I also understand everyone experiences are different, I typically never get into anything. Just work and home, but wouldn’t want my family experiencing anything crazy. I don’t mind what the truth is, I just really want to know the truth from a native.
