Going up in hz is good for fighting games but it's the fact he's ignoring this and saying the INPUT DELAY REDUCTION is the real life saver. I can't stand this guy. This whole time he's been saying that PC has an advantage because they have fewer dropped moves and their inputs get priority over people on console. Now he's like, "Oh someone told me that having a higher hertz monitor gives you an advantage on PC by allowing you to react faster so I was right all along." No phil that's not the same fucking thing. Also that's not even true. Higher hertz monitors don't allow you to react faster. It gives you better image quality with less image bleeding when it rapidly changes what is on screen but it doesn't let you react faster unless you also have higher FPS to match the monitor refresh rate. The thing with SF6 and most fighting games though is that it LOCKS FPS AT 60 FRAMES TO BALANCE THE GAME BETWEEN PC AND CONSOLE. You don't get any advantage in terms of being able to react faster on PC compared to console. You can say that you might get a VERY minor advantage for image clarity which could help you notice what is happening on screen easier but that doesn't mean you will react faster. You can also get a high refresh monitor for console anyway and have the exact same benefit. He's so unbearably ignorant.
