In reality a big corporation settling is effectively a loss, but an individual settling usually isnt A big corporation wouldnt settle unless it was at least big enough that the suit would have taken A LOT of time If twitch would have confidently won (IE, these doc allegations) twitch would have fought and had doc pay the legal fees So either doc has dirt on people in high places on twitch Or the allegations are likely false

Settlement doesn't automatically mean either side would of lost it just means they didn't want to drag out a court case to maybe lose, and definitely lose some money in the process(lawyers, filing fees etc.) no matter what happened. Its a pick your battles type of situation. Too bad Phils brain can't comprehend this basic concept.

Phil doesn't understand the kahncept of at-will employment/association. DrDisrespect had some sort of contract that guaranteed a certain amount of money over a certain amount of time, neither Twitch nor Disrespect wanted to get into the weeds about it and that's why there was a settlement. Otherwise someone you're working for/working with absolutely doesn't need to provide 'proof' of why they're terminating the relationship. It can be for any reason or no reason at all as long as it doesn't violate the law.

I got that backwards at one point, as well, as I didn't see the history of the edits. Had to have my brother explain the proper timeline of the edits. That took all of 2 minutes to clear up - something Dave could do as he has a Twitter account and I don't, so I rarely look at the site or know of its current functions. But of course PPB doesn't do research - this is the same man who doesn't pay attention to the very video games he plays that tell him how to play it.

If an 18 year old man is charged for messing with a 17 year old girl, is the man a PDFile? If so, the word is being thrown around way too loosely and we need some hard and fast definitions. Now, our boy Phil, if his accusations are true of him being over a decade older and panda being 17, that seems over the line. I never jump to judgement on these things though because there too much shady shit done to men all the time. If dood did some muffed up stuff, it'll come out in a prosecution and he will be arrested, but if that hasn't happened yet, I'll pass on judgement.
