tbh the only reason Ajax isn't getting the recognition they deserve is because they debuted in 2012. 2012 was the year of the rookies & so many bands debuted that year, it was hard to get attention. Exo & Bap mostly caught the eyes of fans that year, 1) Bap debuted really early in the year and introduced a new concept to kpop and 2) Exo's part of the biggest agency (or was) in Korea. It's sad becuz so many more groups need love and one of my favs even disbanded becuz they didn't get enough attention😭

ShineeHeart12 While, it is true there was an influx of idols in 2012, EXO started getting attention only after "Growl" in Korea. In 2012, EXO was considered "flop rookies" in Korea and was mostly famous only among international fans. On the other hand, A-JAX did quite well I think, but then in 2013 as I said "Growl" came and A-JAX just couldn't catch up to EXO's fame.

Also, they were one of the power rookies in 2012. The reason why they isn't getting anywhere is that DSP didn't know how to promote them after Jaehyung enlisted in 2014. They had to cancel their comeback and were on hiatus waiting for him and in the end, he didn't renewed his contract and cut contact with all members. In addition, Sungmin left the group to become a soloist under DSP and Jihu (Hyojun) left to focus in his acting and modeling career. They added Joonghee now but DSP is still not promoting them well. They recorded their korean comeback and chinese debut but because of THAAD, it was canceled again. Now they are promoting and releasing their japanese single on 19th called Romeo, performed the korean version of Romeo during 2017 Incheon Kpop Concert and are probably joining The Unit. Please support them! 💕

They went on a hiatus because Jaehyung enlisted but DSP didn't promoted them during those 2 years, in the end, Jaehyung didn't renewed his contract, Sungmin left to become a soloist under DSP, Joonghee was added to the group and Hyojun/Jihu left afterwards to focus on acting/modeling. A-Jax are so talented and definitely have everything going in their favour, so would someone please explain to me why they appear to be so criminally underrated? +KpopFit Feisty Even though I have only just got into this group recently, A-Jax are way overdue for a comeback. DSP should either release a new song or issue a statement saying they've broken up (if that is the case the company shouldn't beat about the bush.) I hope they haven't disbanded, but after all this time, I think their chances of returning are sadly very slim. It is unfair of K-Pop companies to leave fans in limbo and waiting for a return which may or may not materialize.

I've been a kpop fan for a long time (nearly 9 years) and I'll honestly say that till this day I've never really been able to understand the hype surrounding EXO, they seem like a nice group of lads and they have good songs I won't deny that but so do lots of other groups out there who work just as hard. Sadly though in todays kpop industry groups from bigger agencies do get the upper hand from the get go, their company has more money and therefore can do a lot more for promotion. It's a shame as there really is some truly great groups out there that go practically unnoticed, but that's just the way the industry is it seems.
