If you've noticed how dsp plays, he uses speed boost a lot, so the ana should usually have more healing.

Mr.Torgue/Altek Ana should always have more healing than Lucio if your team is cohesive. 70% of Lucio's value is his speed boost. His AOE heals even amped can't save a teammate from being focused down. He can really only do that with Soundbarrier. Ana's nade and shot combo can buy any hero a few more seconds. Lucio and Zen should almost never be solo supports.

i think for overall high end lucio play to max out on potential as a hero it might be needed to make the switch off space bar to a mouse button. I for one have an extremely hard time telling myself jump is not space bar for lucio because on my other heros they remain the same. at this point if i want to make the change i need to dedicate to Lucio 24/7 ( metaphorically lmao)

I've tried switching Lucio's jump binding to his right click for weeks at a time, but could never get used to it. Part of it is also the fact that I still play comp. TF2, so having to use my "same old" bindings and then having to go back to the new ones always throws me off. I guess if UGC TF2 goes down the toilet next season, I'll give it another go, but until then, I've kinda got my hands tied. All joking aside, keep up the good work DSPStanky. You're making us Lucio mains look good. ;)

Part of that is just getting a mouse you feel comfortable with too. I have a Razer Naga (the one with the 12 buttons on the thumb side) just for TF2 binds and am thinking about getting a second mouse for Overwatch. That being said, Stanky's setup isn't exactly the "perfect" setup either. It's just the one he prefers. I like his mouse binds, but I'd personally keep Amp it Up on "E". It's all preference, and since I'm still playing more-or-less with the default binds, because they're the ones I've felt the most comfortable with over the years, I'm not even 100% sure where my preferences are.

yea so I switched mine to stanky's bindings and it was SUUUUPER weird in the begginning but you eventually get used to it and in the end now I play much better and jump easier and stuff, but it takes a while to get used to. so just keep doing it, keep trying, it will be worth it when you get it! ;)

The right click is an amazing way to move, but again, my biggest issue is that Overwatch isn't the main game I play, and re-learning anything like that takes time which honestly I don't have a ton of. Again, whenever I either quit or take a break from TF2, I'll be switching my Overwatch bindings around.

he does it to make his movements unpredictable when enemies are firing at him because the healing aura makes him slower and the speed aura makes him faster. spamming between the two can make it harder for him to get hit :D source - a lucio main

For anyone who wants to be better at aiming while jumping, I changed jump to L3 on PS4 for all characters, but it works especially well with genji and Lucio and makes wall riding easier as well. No need to take your thumbs off of the sticks really.

1:00 This, people, is how you take the first point on kings row. Just go full team, right side, through theater, up top, and through the window. Then continue around and speedboost-jump so you can get behind the point and then start brawling. You will have completely ignored the choke point and should be able to get a few picks and win per spawn advantage.

If you're on console, it helps to bind jump to your Right trigger and boop to the A/X button. Because the camera analog is on the right stick, it will be a lot easier to swing your camera while squeezing RT, not having to pull your finger off of the analog stick to jump and back to the analog stick to Re-initiate wall riding. Then bind primary fire to Left trigger so you can also shoot as you're moving! Goodluck fellow lucio mains! CANNOT STOP WILL NOT STOP!!!
