Dean and Dan (Dsquared2 designers) say that there are military influences within the collection evident by the forest green woven in with bright and pastel colors as well. The story behind the clothes is: it's 1950, the models are coming from Los Angeles when their plane crashes and they have to adapt their outfits to survive on the hot island.
