Klaus only spawns 2 Krapuses per player. So when you solo him you'll get 2 Krapuses but if you fight him with 2 friends you'll get 6 2x3=6

Number 8 : Gunpowder You will need 50 gunpowder to beat the first form of klaus so you will need : 50 nitre 50 rotten eggs 50 charcoal To beat his second form , you will need 25 gunpowder 25 nitre 25 rotten eggs 25 charcoal If you want to beat his two forms with gunpowder , you will need a total of 75 gunpowder Since i'm not sure if Klaus will drop the stag antler if killed with gunpowder , you will only need 74 gunpowder and then finish him off Simply put him to sleep , place the good amount of gunpowder and light it up. This is a technique for cowards , but of course , you gain time by doing that (unless you don't have the materials to make all this gunpowder) Number 9 : Wolf-Gang Tank him with 6 wolfgangs

8 tip. If you get the gem dear caught on something then have a friend build a box around them ( klaus agro on you then you friend put a box around the deer then train him till deerclopse arives then have him fight klaus. Dont be near the deers though

Ugh...reminds me of when me and a friend were fighting Klaus and Deerclops attacked. I led it away to kill it quick, and my friend drags Klaus over to clops to help me kill it. A prime example on how to ruin a Klaus kill, because it ended up killing the deer.

I found out an amazing exploit on how to defeat Klaus. If you block Klaus and then use the whip/ Tail o Three cats, Klaus can't attack you nor use it's spells on you! I hope this helps anyone who fights Klaus.

Enraged Klaus the hardest fight? Nah. I found fighting the Ancient Fuelweaver much more difficult. With this, you're just kiting him and you have to be careful.

Its Epicosity: he is talking about enraged Klaus fight. Kill a deer straight away then try and kill Klaus after he is enraged. Joeshmoocoolstuff said enraged Klaus is definitely the hardest boss in the game in his opinion. All Klaus' stats get a major boost. Most ppl know not to kill Klaus' deer so I doubt many ppl have killed enraged Klaus. Yea normal Klaus is not very difficult to kill.

shane jett I know. But as seen in the video, all he's really doing is kiting. A bit of precise movement and you can dodge him as shown, whereas the Ancient Fuelweaver requires a LOT more than kiting.

Damn I just saw your comment. Afterall this is only a matter of taste for sure but this fight is really not about "just kiting" him :P Otherwise you would be able to find a lot of videos on YT. Yet, there's none when it comes about to fight him without any help from Bees, Bunnymen, Tentacles, Treeguards or anything. Did you try it? Even the removal of the Klaus' Deer isn't an easy task , especially the second one. Second phase is rather easy and that's probably the kiting part you mentioned. Then comes the Third and final form which is a truly hard fight : not timing well the dodge of his chomp attack once and you will tank hard damage plus need to re-position yourself good. Not to mention you need to manage your Campfire if you don't have a StarCaller's Staff and the fact you need ALL the speed modifiers if you're not playing Wolfgang. The Road is also tricky to see in Winter sometimes... You also have such a short time to eat your food/refuel your fire while fighting and the fight is really long, you can't lose your focus otherwise you dead. The Boss hits really hard, 102.9 per strike for a total of 205.8. Only talking about the major issues here... that's why Enraged Klaus is harder than Fuelweaver or Bee Queen for example to me. If someone showcases the fight rushing Enraged Klaus (or even killing him without too much of preparation) without any help from monsters/followers and without using any cheesy techniques, I would have an *eternal respect* for the dude. Even with Wolfgang. EDIT: Helicalpuma actually did it! Using Wolfgang. But that doesn't really count, I already had eternal respect for that dude anyway! :)

Alright, that's understandable. I still haven't tried the fight, and the only reason I said what I did is because I attempted to solo the Ancient Fuelweaver with the most buff WX-78 possible, only to be miserably defeated. After that, my idea was that this must be the hardest boss if it's this difficult to do solo, not even Enraged Klaus beats it. Unfortunately, that means I still find it hard to believe something is more difficult than the Fuelweaver, but maybe my opinion will change at some point.

Its Epicosity: try killing enraged Klaus first and then ur opinion isn't just based on watching a video. I have a lot of respect for great players like joesmocoolstuff, helicalpuma and Doni. Joesmocoolstuff said that enraged Klaus is definitely the hardest boss in the game in his opinion. His opinion is based on many, many hours of gameplay and experience killing bosses. Joesmocoolstuff also uses bees to help kill enraged Klaus + wolfgang ofc as he always does, also considering its a speedrun. Even with wolfgang and cheesing with bees its a tough fight. I doubt any characters except Wolfgang or Wigfred would have a realistic chance of killing enraged Klaus. Doni also has a video killing fuelweaver with Wes, no weather pain or lazy explorer. So if ur really good u could possibly kill fuelweaver with any player (Maxwell possibly not) without weather pains or lazy explorer or both.

Great video, but wouldn't it be better if you only used ice/fire staff on the ice deer and not on the fire one? Since you're fighting in winter you get an ultra-fast temperature raise every time fire deer attacks, which definitely helps fight freezing

i am just using 40 gunpowder when klaus enraged ( second phase ) and killing it immediately. and also you keep the key for bag until new day and you can choose your drops ^^ i got krampus sack like that. thanks to rollback :P

Is kinda difficult first times. I always suggest to play some with him before going for the throat, just to get familiar with movements, spells, krampi and so on. Don't focus on attacking him, just focus on how he moves, how to run from spells, ecc and then, when you get familiar, WIPE HIS F***ING ASS OUT! xD
