Well i bought him and i did a little trick with that figure. I bought a random joint pack on ebay, 20 revoltech joints, many china sellers sell those in packs [20-50-100]. Have in mind - those are original revoltech "rachet" joints. I managed to get all the parts i needed in my first 20pcs pack [i was very lucky, all the joints that i needed were in black color, that ones or those dark gray joints fit perfectly with this figure]. I simply swapped those crappy clone joints for the revo ones and now this venom is perfect =) The only joints you cant change are the feet ones. The ankle joints have a very unique structure, there is a ball peg in the feet, very hard to pull out. But those joints in the feets are very sturdy, i tested them and they wont break as easly as the ones in the arms or elbows [those are the most fragile and crapy ones on that figgure]. You can skip swapping the neck joint if your venom is well put, mine was and the head sits tight on the joint. I also swapped joints on spidey - he is working now like the original ones. And all of this still costed me less than 23 USD per figure [for venom i paid 17 USD, and one 20pcs pack of joints costed me like 4 USD] P.S. About the waist joint - even when you put on this guye original revo joint he still have tighter movement than original. Im sure its due to the fact that he is made from difrent material and he have bigger inner mold in his chest. Awesome bootleg when you put a little work and effort into him ^^

Thanks for your info Zekzt!!! I just spent 2 HOURS working with a replacement Venom (the 1st figure has a broken peg stuck in the top half of the body and the seller gave me the option for a refund or to wait about 5 weeks for another figure shipped from China...I took second option!) 😃 This replacement's body peg joint is too loose to barely hold the top-heavy torso upright! I'm gonna take your advice and buy a bag of Revoltech joints from Ebay. Once I Dremel the peg out of the hole on the 1st figure - I'll have TWO working Venoms for less than $30!!! Worth the frustration and wait! 😄😉

Don't wanna make you feel worse but I was just on ebay and saw one for $6.99 shipped. No box, but same build as this one in the video. I don't buy these things but I was just too curious about the quality of a $7 toy vs a $100 one so I had to watch this video to check. I thought the bootleg would have no detail and look like a Down-Syndrome version of the original but this un-boxing video has proven my speculation unfounded. I'm blown away... $7... vs >$100.

whatever77054 .. it's a clone, same molds. I don't know how they do it, maybe it's even from the same factory just making more and selling them for less after the order was finished.... The only difference is they don't have the trade mark revoltech joints.

I actually bought this bootleg and i had the opposite problem with joints: some of them were really floppy (mostly on the arms and the legs). I managed to fix all of them except the double joints on top of the left leg that attach to the hips. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix it? I was thinking of using floor detergent but there's so little space i'm not sure how to apply it.

Hi z0m813. Did the peg BODY split into (which can just be squeezed back together), or did the peg "break off" of the peg body AND STAY STUCK IN THE HOLE of the figure's body part - like mine did? I opted to get a replacement and just spent 2 hours "working" on it, but it is "usable"! 😅 Will have to buy a bag of Revoltech joints to get a VERY TIGHT body peg to keep him upright. (And, when I Dremel that broken peg out of the hole of the 1st figure...I'll have TWO VENOMS (and a bag of spare pegs) for half the cost of a "good production" figure! 🤗🤗

Well @z0m813, like I said, I am going to use a very narrow drill bit to Dremel that broken peg out of the hole, then (after buying a bag of Revoltech joints from Ebay) replace the peg with one that will, not only fit firmly into the holes of the body halves, but (hopefully) has a very firm "ratchet action" on the ball axis. On my second replacement Venom, that I worked on yesterday, the body was not twisting at the waist, so I hit that area with a little (heat gun) heat, let it cool down, then was able to pull the two halves apart. But the peg was still hard to remove from one half...so a little more heat and needle nosed pliers got that out. Because I feared that peg "seizing" again and then breaking again when I turn the body at the waist, I used a drop of liquid dish soap to lubricate the holes. Now, I have the issue of the body halves falling apart too easily while articulating Venom! If the ends of this peg had "balls" at the ends to "pop" into place (and hold!), and a firm ratchet action while moving up and down, that would be ideal for this heavy figure...🤔 BE VERY CAREFUL HEATING (and drilling) the parts...twisting them while soft will lead to disaster. 😐 Also, widening the hole while removing the broken peg is more disaster...

I was thinking the same. But there are ways to fix loose joints too. But in case of bootlegs, it is better for those to be too tight than too loose. Loose bootlegs most of the time just fall apart...

So I ordered 2 of these fake revoltech figures. One was the carnage and that one was AMAZING! Not a single complaint especially for it being a clone. The other was this venom figure. The pegs do not fit in the wholes and withing two days of having him all the accesory joints have snapped, and the hip joint broke. Like i literally picked him up and didnt even move him and his hip joint just snapped. But seeing as I saved a bunch of money Im going to just order a bunch of revoltech joints and swap them all out. I would suggest ordering them when u buy the figure, u will need them.

Spider-Gwen had surprisingly good joints so this one i didnt modified yet [thou i probably will, i have perfect revo joints for her in terms of size and collors =)]

Joints broke, the middle abs part has no join at all, its just floating there. Top shoulder part won't stay on, and his eye part on the top of his head won't stay on right. Lots of super glue, now its mainly a statue. It is a very cool looking venom, but only the arms and head are pose able. Wolverine is on its way too. I'm sure the same thing will happen with him. Should have ordered the real deal. 20$ on eBay is ultimately a bad deal.
