DT125R Supermoto the Engine Build! Part 9

Ported the original barrel with 2 extra auxiliary exhaust ports, ported all the transfer ports to the correct height, checked timing for every single port, adapted a scooter ignition.
Next steps, to finish the engine:
-Combustion Chamber.
-Stainless exhaust matching the 144cc

I have had 4 , one had a gray engine, two silver engines , a gold engine, that I skimmed top end because I blew it up, I opened power valve out full an new piston an ring , it was fast af for a 125 , faster than other 3 I had

For a road bike, and considering the age of this engine, its not too bad, but when compared to actual 2 stroke engine design MX bikes , the dt engine its a proper dinossaur 🤣

@@JLMotorsport yea I know, but the YZ has not changed much I had a 91 250 , not much has changed on them apart from the power valve system, I used to be able to get them for a few hundred quid but now they are rare an worth a couple of grand

just got a quick question, why the 6mm spacer and stroker rod? what difference dos it make to the engine characteristic (surely would slow down peak revs?

Is this using a standard £MB00 DT125R barrel? I have thought myself about adding the extra exhaust ports, but didn't know if they would break into the water jacket? What power valve are you going to use?

Yes it is indeed the original 3MB Barrel, going to use the original PV modified.
