DTB vs. DWB | Norstar Company

In this video we take a closer look at the construction and design of two of our dump trailers frames. While at first glance these two trailers look almost identical their frame build and design are completely different. Our DTB sits on an industry standard 8'' monoframe Ibeam while our DWB is made up of a dual 6'' Ibeam. In the Video you stated the DTB uses dual 6" I beam construction and in your description you contradict that statement. So, which is correct?

Good eye! The DTB uses a dual 6” I-Beam

Question, you mention DTB and (from what I see DLB) have under bed channel design for heavy track vehicle use durability... but DWB14 bed is pretty low and it's a heavily built trailer. It looks like it is built to tow heavy track vehicles too, correct? I only ask because I am buying Iron Bull and wanted to better understand my options. Very nice work trailers !

The DWB and DTB both can be used to tow tracked vehicles! Your DTB is the one with the full length bed runners and is the one we would suggest if youre looking to tow any type of equipment in the dump. Hope this helps

Im looking into the ETG14 in either a 25ft or 28ft. Length, I like the drive over fender with low deck height for loading pickup trucks and suv's. What do those run cost wise?

Our DWB follows the industry standards design and is a great trailer. However, our DTB has a design that is unique to us and offers more strength where strength matters most. Both are great options though

@@Norstarcompany1 This was a terrible response.... I was going to buy a DWB tomorrow but this response from the company has me reconsidering. They are the same price but the DWB has NO advantages and "follows the industry standard"? What the F? RENAME THE VIDEO "INDUSTRY STANDARD TRAILER VS ONE WE LOVE" unreal.

The stake pockets on the 2022 DWB are not fitted to traditional 2x4. So what are they supposed to be fitted to? Anyone please let me know, its a strong and beautiful trailer but i can figure out how to make use of the feature. God bless

@@Norstarcompany1 Wasn't a head scratcher for me though, all i had to do was custom measure and rip a beam accustomed to the stake pocket fitment, actually turned out stronger than traditional 2x4. But i imagine for someone without appropriate carpentry tools and skill will find it hopeless and annoying.

I just bought DTB 16', and not sure of deck reliability, when raising bed it bows, with nothing in it. Checked out welds and there is like one tack weld 1" one each tab? Doesn't seem like enough, maybe causing the flex?

I have not at this time yet. I am 2 hours away from dealer, if I was able to look at another I would know if that's how it is built or if it is missing welds.
