@@merchstudio I seen you have worked with DTF superstore, have you had any experience with the Mimaki TXF-150 yet? If not we would love to set up a demo. We teamed up with them and help people transition over.

Just discovered this channel today and I am already learning a lot. I'm from Kenya and about to get into the DTF Printing business.

As always, really liked the content Jerald. I am happy to hear that business is picking up a bit. Just like you, my wife is my right hand Lady. No matter the task she is right by my side helping to get it done. We certainly are blessed to have the right partners. 👍 And as for prices, I was kind of distraught to see the prices get lowered. I thought that by you standing firm on prices ($8 linear foot) you were letting everyone know that there is a reasonable price to pay for the quality you provide. On the other hand, I know there are a number of people out there offering super cheap DTF prints, but sometimes the quality of product and/or service suffers. Kind of like the "Fast, Cheap, or Good" saying. Pick which ever two you want, but not likely to get all three. Nonetheless, I am still inspired by you and am aiming to get to where you are soon. Thank you for keeping us up to date on your business progress, as well as showing your struggles.

Couldn't agree more, but we are now at about the average price for DTF in Texas. Still aiming for all 3 though.

Hello Jerald, that fiberglass insulation was your idea or it was instaled default in factory?

Hey Jerald, can you help? How solve the whitewashing phenomenon in solid and gradient colors?
@merchstudio6 ай бұрын
Having that challenge to but a less abrupt gradient may fix it

I hope that was fireprof insulation in that

I think you need to change pricing. Many of my competition was coming from places with cheaper prices and still good quality. Jiffyshirts has also recently started selling dtf which I thought was nuts. It's always pretty slow but wait till ppl get there taxes lol.
@merchstudio9 ай бұрын
do you mean lower my prices? I just did.

What if my dtf driver isnt curing evenly? The right side consistently is not curing regardless of what i do. The rest of tge print will be cured. It will seem it's lined up but then it has walked and it's not driving again.
@merchstudio7 ай бұрын
What’s your curing temp? Also, lower your exhaust fan speed. It may be sucking out all the heat and causing the IR lamps to fire
@fuelbaseball79877 ай бұрын
Temp is 120 and when it works that is too high and i lower it to 110. I don't have any exhaust fans. I have it vented straight from the machine out the window.

Next time use rock wool, it doesn’t burn like fiberglass and works better.
