It is nice to hear about his perspective. Far better than Rogan interview. I live in Lithuania now,im from NY. I find that when i first came here, I talked a lot. Basically because of nervousness. I really learned to listen and my mind was blown on these peoples lives. Estonia, latvia and Lithuania have basically all been through the same things. At one time it was all the republic of Lithuania. The Baltic states and people are amazing and if you ever get a chance, visit it. These people are unbelievably resilient and intelligent.

Came here to say that after watching another podcast recently, it really made me appreciate more what a great interviewer Duncan is. It makes such a difference when you're talking to someone who's actually interested, truly present and creating a space for a meaningful interaction with the guest compared to someone who just seems to go through the motions, doesn't uplift the guest and wants to hear himself talk. The art of conversation is such a valuable skill to develop.

FUCKIN A!!! I've loved Ari Matti since his first appearance, he's so naturally hilarious!!! I want to hang out with him so bad, you just know he'd be so much fun to talk to and hang with!! I'm an ATX born and raised here, a native Austinite and I still haven't had a chance to go see a comedy show at all since 2017bwhen I saw Joey Diaz at Cap City Comedy, Ashley Barnhill opened for him and she was a hilarious dark comic, I was definitely laughing the loudest at her jokes lol Thank you Duncan! I love you so much brother! Ari, you are incredibly gifted my friend!! I my hope I get to shake your hand and have a drink or smoke a joint with you and listen to some of your life stories! You're already loved and being cheered on by everyone here including myself! I'm genuinely happy to see your quick success and I can't wait to see how much better and bigger you become, and you're already naturally so fucking funny brother! I can see you're working on your jokes and you're an excellent joke writer, your delivery is that of a professional comedian. You got this Ari! I grew up in a city of Idaho where every single person in my family, extended family, all my friends, and most of my peers were Mormon. I knew nothing else. Mormonism is one of the most successful cults in the world today and the way he describes the Soviet Union is exactly how Mormonism works. Somehow I got lucky and always had a curious/skeptical mind so I left when I was 17. "Control the sub-culture, control their sub-conscious" hit hard.
