In 1989 , before I was born my father surf cast it at San Luis reservoir with a bait pile worm but my grandfather reeled in a 32 lb stripe bass that was their best memory between a father and son moments

What a catch! I remember those days- brings back many memories back in the early 90's. Looks like all of you had your hands full and plenty of fun. Today I call it lazy fishing - lol! We only use artificial lures over here in North Carolina. Rarely do my guys and I use live shad, bluegills, bloodworms, liver, or any fresh bait anymore. Thank you for the video though- tight lines!

Bro ! Iam new to fishing the duck and I heard people calling you the legend .would you let me know just a couple of good spots .iam coming from the 15/Fwy an Main st .but Iam welling to drive a little farther if that's what it take .but not crazy far .iam going to check it out tonight by main st .I would appreciate it . I've been fishing for a long time .for some reason the duck has got me a little confused. Well the reason is I don't know when the is released.and when it's stopped. Is it the same time like the river. And how do you get your cars in .later

Awesome Catch & beauty of a Striper!! The only thing I ever caught that big was a broken Tree branch lol..😂👍
@Dan138bigd11 ай бұрын
I used to catch striper on the Arizona side of the Colorado River in the 90's. I caught them usually under 5lb, but my Father caught a 25lb on Lake Mohave that decade. His Uncle landed a 52lb striper on the river in the late 70's. AZ and CA state record is 67lb. WR 81lb! Largest documented was a 92lb netted by biologist for a study in Maryland and weighed on a certified scale. Just wasn't eligible for a record I guess due to the way it was caught. Nice fish dude.

No, not from my experience, I ate a 32 lb bass, and was nearly as good as a smaller 18- 26 inch would. Stripers are the best tasting fish, I love them 👍👍 taste just like them just as much as black bass, very mild, clean fish
