Klaus Ludwig, arrogante come sempre, lo fece prima della gara disse: "E' impossibile che chi non abbia mai corso qui vinca, questa è una pista vera che bisogna conoscere bene", alludendo al fatto che si candidava alla vittoria. Peccato... peccato anche perché aveva da poco comprato casa nelle vicinanze e Pirro -nella diretta data allora da MTV, disse che si immaginava la faccia di Ludwig tutte le volte che tornava a casa vedere la pista dove Larini aveva fatto doppietta al primo tentativo... :)

Ludwig gehört wie Ichx,Stuck,Maas etc...zur Rennsport Loge die von den Freimaurern unterstützt wurde... konservative Etablierte die das Reglement und die Strecken manipulierten so dass auch talentierte Nachwuchs Fahrer in Zaum gehalten wurden.

Giovanna Balducci Veramente, e sono un Alfista, quella 155 V6 Ti era un pó una "italianata" nel senso che quelli che la progettarono sfruttarono alcuni buchi nel regolamento e misero in pista una macchina praticamente con motore di F1....che di Italiano aveva ben poco. Il V6 inizialmente derivato dal 60 gradi Alfa di serie fu sostituito con il V6 Lancia PRC a 90 gradi che fu profondamente modificato usando tecnologie di F1 come la micro-fusione in alluminio e una testata a 4 valvole pneumatiche in lega di alluminio-magnesio costruita dalla inglese Cosworth e comandata da centraline della tedesca Bosch. :-) I Tedeschi infatti 2 anni dopo modificarono il regolamento DTM rendendolo piu preciso per evitare che l'Alfa lo aggirasse usando di fatto un motore da F1 (faceva 490 CV a 11.800 giri...) solo nominalmente derivato dalla serie.

You must remember that the dtm we have now is not the same championship we had then after 1996 dtm/itc were cancelled and the name was revived for the current championship (which bears no relation to the old championship) in 2000 I think it was. Anyway that was when motorsport was as fast as possible not as fast as is deemed safe.
