very nice a microcontroller pbx with the switching. Could even add a voice prompt with the little voice boards breakout boards or even an old 80s voice chip. Nice to see a solution outside of raspberry pi.

This would be some really useful knowledge if say, comms were down. You could essentially have comms between some tight knit friends, and private. Way beyond my base of skill and know how, but very cool, none the less!

if we had battery powered Arduinos and some knowledge a couple of decades ago it would’ve been a lot cheaper making calls from pay phones

TTL outputs SHOULD be 5 volts.. 3v3 is just lame :D
