About Jin saying Jungkook shut himself down during their hard time was around the time bts considered thinking of disbanding. They were all having a hard time but from what I saw from interview answers. Jungkook and Taehyung had the hardest time during that time. Taehyung because he lost a lot of people and that’s difficult to get over with. It takes time. Further on even during January and February 2018 you could tell something was off but you couldn’t exactly point out what it was. I also remember jungkook in one Japanese magazine telling how he was going through such a hard time that he felt like he was spreading the bad atmosphere around and cried and drank alone, when the other boys came to him and cried with him. That is what I know from Jungkook’s part. But since this matter is quite serious, private and personal. Bts members haven’t gone indepth in it. And that’s completely understandable cause around that time it was too hard for them. To the point they wanted to disband.

Yeah you can also see the difference and that something was off when you compare the festas from 2018 and 2019. They seemed happier and like a weight had been lifted off their shoulders in 2019s festa. They still seem genuinely happy and as close/connected here but I felt like they held back from getting too deep or serious with some of their answers. Maybe because of everything going on in the world that’s taking a mental/emotional toll on everyone. I could be wrong but just my thoughts

@@Michelle-lz7zc I think that their main worry, frustration and disappointment is the postponement or worse, cancellation of their concert tours due to the pandemic. Seriously, nobody knows when it will end and how safe it is for thousands of people to gather at close proximity. On top of that, we don't know if Jin has to be enlisted into the military by this year. This will affect their tour programmes. They had mentioned about preparing and practising hard since last year for this 2020 tour. They couldn't even promote their latest Album "Map of the Soul: 7" properly. Thankfully, Armys have been buying and streaming their album, single and Agust D's D-2 relentlessly till they charted everywhere. Hope they are all doing well, relaxing and creating more music for us.

When BTS debuted they got a lot of attention because of their perfectly synchronized choreography. They were compared to another group called Infinite (those guys synchronisation was out of this world) and considered one of the only groups at their level even if they were rookies. They also got a lot of attention for their hip hop roots. At the time i was listening to a group called Block B who had really good rappers, they reminded me of them and I instantly got hooked. Good old times

My first impression started with Tae, "Ah, this person is heartwarming" at the time around Hwarang. I kept searching about him till I got to BTS I listened few of their title tracks and thought "oh this sounds so good" but just casually and didn't bother much to understand the lyrics, it goes on for 2 years. I was busy with college, and this is normal for me coz I hardly get attached to anything. I was never a kpop fan, tho I'm surrounded with Kpoper friends. I listen to songs but just that. 2019, when I got a lot of time in my hands, I got a lot deeper through their songs, their personalities, I got struck with their messages and fell in love with BTS deeply. I was never wrong, Tae being heartwarming and all the members too. I am an OT7 and forever Tae biased now. All I can say is that, I was never into just looks, just talents, just personalities, just popularity...but these guys are whole literally and figuratively wholesome they got everything not just within a person but them together, creating such amazing magic that you can't help but look at them closely. 💜 Now, I'm still a baby but I am an ARMY.

It’s a Korean culture when at the end of the meal if there’s leftovers of ingredients, they will mix all together with additional bowl of rice to stir fry and make it into fried rice to end off the meal. Like there’s a 2nd stomach for it like a “dessert”. If you go to Korean restaurants, they do that especially for those hot plate stir fry chicken/beef/pork dishes.

I didn’t know them until they appeared at AMA 2017 performing DNA. They were already big and obviously amazing performers. So it was pretty quick for me to fall for these boys 😂 JK caught my attention first and I only had my eyes on him during performances. I was impressed by their creative and synchronized choreography although I have known kpop for a long time. Plus their rapping was hella impressive and something very different from kpop i know, that’s what I thought. At first, Jhope, Jin, and RM didn’t stand out for me so much. However, after I got to know them more, I just can’t help but love all 7 of them and realized each member is just so great in their own way. I took a break from kpop for years because I lost interest in it. But thanks to BTS, I started listening to kpop again, but mostly BTS music only.

I search for them not knowing that I was going to love them so much. I first got impressed because of their hard choreos and dance skills. when i first got into bts they were really small and skinny I even thought they were a lot younger than me but when I figured out they were around my age it shocked me. I liked their hip hop sound I always enjoyed all types of music so that wasn't a problem at all. as for what I saw, I have to be honest in 2013 and beginning of 2014 I had some worries they were going to be like most groups were lasted only acouple of years in the industry, that was the norm small company groups had little chance to survive in a big 3 monopolized system. there was a rookie group that debuted a bit after bts and i liked both of them.... that other group went nowhere it's insane to see old videos of bts and them together at the same level and now. i think around the end of 2014 and all 2015 I had a feeling things were changing for bts, the international fan community was growing in a very healthy pace and their music only got better also they started getting attacked for basically breathing some people were getting threatened. that's when I started to think they were going at at least be the number one group in kpop someday....... nothing prepared me for so much worldwide success, i'm till trying to process things from 2019. I get whiplash when i really start to think how huge they are now. OMG EDIT: there was a discussion I saw in a translation kpop website back in 2015 and some people were commenting on a big 3 company basically saying their newer group was going to be the next big thing like their senior group and all hell broke lose in the comment section and I had an epiphany moment I guess, everyone was mentioning groups left and right and no one said bts which was so weird they were doing so well. I only wrote "xx company lost their opportunity to have the next big thing, that's already in the making and no one is aware of them seriously enough, they're right there catching up pretty quickly now" nobody understood what I was saying. too bad I was banned from that place for being an army lmao 😭 I wanted to screenshot that specific thinkpiece I did. it was a lot longer.

My honest confession.. when I know bout them in 2013, I wasnt impressed w them actualy cuz at tht time there was a huge trend for boygroups to debut w badboy/hiphop style n I wasnt digged it cuz they were showin off too much even their attitude kinda 'unpolite'. There was even a huge case of one group who made an unpolite attitude when they were in Thailand so they bring bad name to S.Korea. Hence...bcuz of this when I saw BTS debut w their badboy concept, I was like...oh no..here we go again...so yeah...I already hv a judgmental towards them. But I aint an anti. I just dont pay attention to them n just focus on my fav. But later I did recognize the amazing kindess of Armys tho ..who loves to support other small group fandoms who got abolished by big fandoms. So Army actualy the one who got my heart first instead of BTS. But then I kinda leaved kpop cuz I hate n just tired on how the industry works n fight between fandoms until in 2016/7...? I over heard "Spring Day" on radio n it got my attention but didnt know who sing it. Then BS&T got me again w the...'mani..mani' which I thought 'money..money' lol...but again I didnt know who sing it. After tht, "Fire" stunned me. I was impressed n I started to check kpop world again n I stumbled to MAMA 2016 vid. There, I saw them clear for the first time (their performncs&their 1st daesang acceptance) n their 'aura' got me like a meteor. I was shocked to know tht finaly a group frm small agency able to win daesang n beat big group agencies. So I started to checken up on them n next thing...yeah Im in this rabbit hole called 'BangtanUniverse' shit for life now. And the other thing tht makes me also happy...Im, since then, part of the 'Army', tht nicest n kindess fandom who I've known bfore. Also did you notice at the end Jimin had taken out one of his earrings and Jungkook was wearing it in his earring. They are so adorable :(. And yes Jimin also has tattoos, he has 4 we believe. He has the Nevermind across his Ribs that he got in Novemeber 2018, the 13 he has on his wrist he got at the start of this year, and also it appears he has 2 above either elbow but we have not seen those clear enough to know what they are, that it looks like he also got at the start of this year.

What got me into them was their love for music and each other. Then I felt the love they had for army and I was gone, I don't regret anything, they are unique in so many ways, their art is so beautiful and holds so much meaning... I've never felt this way for any artist in my 21 years of life. I'm so so proud of them and so thankful, they really make life a little bit better with their presence.

jin really is a catch, and my first impression of bts was 1. a bit cringey lol. 2. tbh except jin, jk and tae they didnt meet up the kpop beauty standard so I was like "so the others must have been very talented to be in a group " , they all look extremely handsome now especially after growing up and the puberty. but kpop beauty standard is really high and demanding thats why I thought like that , not that they were ugly but they didnt meet up the beauty standards ,I didnt call myself army from day 1 tbh, it took time for me to call myself ARMY cuz I really wasnt into kpop and still I am not, just bts for me but I do try things to not judge without knowing, now I think namjoon is one of the manliest and hottest members , suga is the cutest , hobi is one of the most charismatic and hottest members too and jimin is one of the sexiest members. at that time I thought of them as a comparison to other kpop groups especially EXO and bigbang at that time which were the groups that were talked about the most, and I sometimes checked them but I wasnt fan of them, maybe the thing that bts is very genuine and very real make ppl connect to them the most. and not to mention they bring many things to the table, its not just dance and rap and vocals , its more, its the story line (one of the strong points for me ) , the msgs , the creativity , the personalities, and the fact that it is a group of 7 ppl which each of them equally is strong, lovable , talented and unique. there are many kpop bands out there and in many of them 1 or 2 members overshadow others while in bts yes there is a bit more popular members but its not like anyone overshadow others, suga which is considered one of the least popular members literally dominated the whole top digital sale chart by a free mixtape, jhope has the most spotify followers , the point is there is no member that doesnt shine in bts. having more vocal fans doesnt really mean other members doesnt have strong fan bases. I like how all of them shine and are strong individuals and thats why even tho I do have a bias (jin) I am also OT7 cuz its hard to not love all of them.

I remember when they debuted I had just got into kpop. Their music had a much more true hip hop feel to it than anyone else at the time, but mostly I just really fell in love with their personalities. The music was great, but they always felt authentic when they were speaking and around e/o. In Kpop, it used to be a must for you to be on variety shows and stuff. Some of the other groups I liked, it became obvious through those shows (sometimes the members would blatantly point it out) that despite living, practicing, and working together some members were either painfully awkward with one another or didnt get along behind the camera (even after knowing e/o for years). BTS was, and continues to be one of the only groups that I think all around never shys aways from being genuine. Not that they dont have arguments and bad moments, but they are honest about it and continue to be actual friends on more than just a coworker level. Then and now you can feel the difference that makes in their musics and lyricism. Also they're really frickin funny without forcing it. They dont need a script to be funny, it really feels like the kind of vibe you get when youre hanging out with your own friends and that has always been weirdly comforting to me, especially during times when all my friends and I are far apart.

I actually love the style of music they did in their earlier years but I didn’t give them a proper listen in the beginning. I was introduced to them when they first debut in 2013 but I thought their image was cringey (I was already in my mid 20s) and largely ignored then (so regretful now). They caught my attention again with Save Me but I didn’t make effort to learn further. Their Wings concept caught my attention and I went back to listen to their songs and was attracted to their sound and lyrics. Blood Sweat and Tear made me a fan while Baepsae and Am I Wrong we’re the songs that made me an ARMY. I didn’t become as invested as I am now until I made an effort to u understand their songs. There live performance fancams was my poison that made it a land of no return.

it was in spring day era when I discovered them and it was love at first sight for me they were like angels and I lost interest in other boys and i know they are the one the moment I see/discovered BTS and up untill now...stanning bts was the best decision that i have ever made and BTS debut was the best thing that ever happened in this whole universe and one of my biggest regrets would be that i was not with them from the beginning😭😭 now that their popularity went up hill they can do whatever they want and shit but they didn't and stay humble like they were always EVERYONE ones to be like them but they are not ready to go through the things that BTS went through and is still going through..no one but BTS could have come out of everything they faced the way they did it would have destroyed anyone else and I stand by that. they were meant to be exactly where they are at.

Maybe its because I was a bit of a hiphop head myself when I was in highschool, as a korean person, it was refreshing to see a kpop boy group with a legitimate dark/heavy hiphop/rap music concept. I was there since day 1, same age as JK, and I thought in my opinion the music was great because of my intense preference to music at the time. I never regret loving them since their debut and i'm so lucky to have found them from the beginning! My ult and only group for me since day 1 🥺💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Tbh yesterday, I listened to their Dark and Wild album again and it's crazy because that album is just a gold mine. Every track is just so good I really do believe that even if their style of music changed, the base is still present. The hip hop base that they had in their earlier days is still present in their present work here and there and the best part is how they manage to make it work. No matter what style they do, their music is just really good it really is hard to understand for me because I enjoy their old stuff just as much as their new stuff even though it is a bit different.

I knew BTS since 2012, because they were posting pre debut logs 😌 I was a fan of another group back then and I wanted to stan only 1 group. When No More Dream dropped, I thought, wow they're really different (concept and talent, you can tell). I supported them since then like an Army, but silently. I denied that I'm an Army myself, since it goes against what I wanted then, I only want to stan 1 group(2nd gen group). WELL, BTS still made me love them and I became very vocal about being an Army in 2014. 😊
