From the very first time I heard this song, I envisioned a mv with Jimin salsa dancing. The guitar and the melody just seem to have a bit of Latin flare. Be Mine is my favorite track on the Muse album; with the acoustic version of Who coming in at a close second. Although, the entire album is a masterpiece. I love the more mature, seductive, grown man side of Jimin he is showing us. 🔥👑💜

It has Spanish guitars but the tempo is more Afrobeats though. I was trying to imagine how one would do a Latin dance to the song and I think the beat is kinda off for that. But u can easily THROW THEM HIPS to this one. It feels kinda like a Latin influenced Afro beats song. But I won't be greedy. We can call it Afro/Latin beats.

While making the "Be Mine" song and doing the ad libs with the deep voice "be mine", at one point he says "my girl" also. With no prompting. Then when he was working with John Bellion on the lyrics of "Who", he didn't come up with the lyrics himself but it is based on whatever emotions he explained and said he wanted to convey and the lyrics aren't vague at all. It refers to a "she", maybe because with English, it is possible to specify gender.
