You're right about the contrasting sound of Face, which was harder and edgy, to this first release from his second album, Muse!!!! Maybe Jimin is showing us how comfortable he was in finding his muse and accepting his duality!!! This song was much needed at this point. I have watched the video several times and I am starting to think that it is about three things (1) Life and love continue while BTS are in the military and they support us (Jimin playing cupid). (2) They all asked Army to not forget them and to wait for them to return ... BTS wants to hold our hand (2025) because they love us (Army). (3) He also left us with an easy dance challenge for Army of all ages to learn in a fun, light-hearted song.

Our Jimin went a little deeper than Willy Wonka LOL He actually said he drew inspiration for his new song and video loosely based on The Beatles album: Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The album came out in 1967 and then in 1978 a movie based on the album was made featuring the Bee Gees. Jimin is a Beatles fan; and in fact, when he was promoting Face he went to NYC to perform on the Jimmy Fallon show; while there he also filmed a short documentary for Vogue magazine where he can be seen going into a record store that sells old vinyl albums and he can be seen with the Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album in his hand which he purchased that day. ✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. According to billboard article, the seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.) Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks. The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.” Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart. About the lyrics, since bts announced their solo projects era, i definitely had in mind that from now on, their music will be much more raw and honest, so i think too that's what jimin means too. uhh nice interpretation i never thought about he could talk about the future with bts and what that might entail. did you notice that when he said it all started the 12.. the kids dancing was doing the 7 sign with their hands?. I think it was a clue to army so we would know what he is singing about but others might think it´s a normal love song. but this is typical jimin always so semtemental and caring of others
