while i like very much the calm atmosphere of this match i find that there are relatively often 'bad' or wrong 'shot-choices' by both players , when there are 'better' = safer or 'easier' shots available ; i find that rather astonishing for players of their standing .

Maybe there is some strategic consideration taken by the player, in order to minimize the cost of a possible missed shot.

On n'applaudit pas, cela permet aux joueurs de pouvoir plus facilement garder leur concentration... on est pas au football ici.

Mon cher , cela fait plus de 65 ans que je connais le billard français et dans toutes les compétitions de bon niveau j'ai toujours vu les spectateurs applaudir notamment en claquant des doigts !...
