1. What poor choices are those? 2. Was Jalas elected to bring change to LA or to play politics? Within a year, he has already made serious headway e.g. to resolve the water crisis, as well as roads - Things that have been unaddressed for the longest time are now being attended to. I think we can be optimistic about the next 4. I don't think people realise how hard it is as an opposition MP to get projects implemented. Because of politics, MPs from the ruling coalition will be given priority in terms of allocation of resources from govt. As an opposition MP, if you appear to be hostile, going around in rallies to bash the govt; politicking 24/7 you will achieve nothing for your constituents because the govt has all the power🤷🏽‍♂️ - they have the money, the labour, they give the approvals, and the permits😅 So what Jalas is doing is smart. By ensuring that he's on good terms with the men in power, both Ruto and Sakaja, he can be assured of support once in a while to deliver for LA residents - and I'd like to believe that this is what matters most to those who voted for him.

Apparently Jalango got into trouble when he supported the finance bill. The ODM party wanted its members to oppose the bill, but a few members like Jalango thought it would benefit Kenyans. Since ODM gatherings were for those opposed to the bill, Jalango would not fit in. However, let's ask ourselves a question: how is it that all those ODM MPs who went to statehouse voted for the bill?
