My little cousin is 8 years now but he still can speak well and can't walk well. He is very kindhearted boy. Please pray for him. All children are going to school and Madrasa except him. This always make me cry silently when am alone. He always asks when will he also go but i have nothing to say. I am searching for duas that i can make for him. When you suddenly stop talking...as a child.I think someone once taught me that this was the Dua of Hazarat Musa after he touched fire as a child instead of gold in Pharaohs court.That was the decree of Allah so that the evil king ( Pharaoh) was convinced that Hazarat Musa ( a.s) was not going to usurp his throne as adviced by his Ministers.

Salaam, this is an interesting interpretation of this duaa. Read it but also, get a referral/refer yourself to a Speech Language Therapist. They specialize in speech difficulties. If this is for a child in particular, please go the earlier the better. Adults can of course receive therapy as well but will need to put in more work.

Maisalreem M , yes it is true what you say. One should definitely get medical help as well. I did the same thing for my child , and Alhamdulillah he is doing much better! It is Sunnah and advice of Prophet Muhammad, seek dawaa and Dua/ medicine and supplication. Furthermore, all parents, plz read online about the speech delay link in children who had MMR vaccination before the age of 5. Plz if someone’s child has speech delay DO NOT delay getting speech therapy for them for any reason, don’t think it will go on their record. Don’t make same mistake as I did. Alhamdulillah , my child by the grace of Allah is doing much better and his speech has improved from 10% to 90% Clarity. Moreover, don’t underestimate the power of this supplication either, and I am saying it from personal experience!

Hey Maisalreem, I think you’re missing the point! The prophet Musa didn’t speak clearly because of what the magicians did against him when he was a kid. They told philaoun that he was the one who would overthrow him. Then they put the kid Musa in test by mixing food and some blaze of fire. They told philaoun that if Musa takes the food then he’s the one who’s going to end his regime and if Musa take the blaze then Musa is not the one they’re looking for. When they brought the food, Musa almost took the food but the angel Gabriel tap Musa’s hand so that he wouldn’t take the food. When Musa put the blaze in his mouth it damages his tongue. This is why Musa didn’t speak clearly and when Allah sent him to Philaoun he asked Allah to make people understand his message by saying this dua. I’ve mentioned this story because all these problems about speech is linked to magic. It doesn’t have to do with anything except sorcery. Therapy can’t solve this problem only the Coran!!!

@Bitcoin Guru. God willing he will be ok , it’s my sincere dua. Let this dua to play in the area where the child stays or plays so that child will hear this every day. Furthermore, try to encourage child to repeat this dua word by word. Start with one word first. Ie. Rubbi, Rubbi, Rubbi, then move to the next word. It will take time, I know, In sha Allah he will be ok. Also, definitely get speech therapist , as this will more concentrated attention for child, as from you as a parents. As child starts speaking small words he could start say this dua, and when he start saying this dua he In sha Allah will start to speak normal. I know that it will take , but remember that Allah is the Healer. You also make to Allah that Allah give my child/ children Shifa. Make dua In Sajood/ prostration. In sha Allah he will ok. I know how you feel as I have been through this. Just remember it’s not difficult for Allah subhana wa tala to do wonders!
