I have many Duas and I can sincerely say that the aroma will evolve if you allow it to sit after 1 or 2 sprays for about 1 month or even 2.

I went completely crazy during the 30% off sale - I bought most of the vanillas in decants. From what I was told, you do need to keep them in a dark spot for a month so they can fully macerate. At least one of my vanillas was already darker in color and ready to go. I like the boozy, woody vanillas and not so much the really sweet ones (such as Escapade Gourmande by Maison Mataha). I am in love with the dupes of Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille, Divine Vanilla and Note Vanille and now you have me thinking that I need to try the Tihota and the Alexandria Short fragrances yet. Next sale!

Vanilla is probably my favorite note...if it doesn't have vanilla in it I'm probably not buying it! The Tihota dupe is spot on! It's a beautiful combination of musk and vanilla so it may not be too sweet for you! I keep all my perfume in my closet so I'm definitely going to let all of them sit for a while....I'm sure they will be perfect for Winter! Thanks so much for watching!

I have the Alexandra vanilla dreams. After letting it sit for 1 to 2 months (most DUAs need 3 months to macerate to full potential) it’s very sweet!!! I love it. I have so many of theirs including vanigila, dark chocolate, rum and vanilla, as well as drowning in vanilla. My next one to grab is their escapade gourmand dupe and tri neighborhood. Tribeca original smells amazing. I’ve been waiting on it!
