Some fun stuff of note: *Dua's always had an interest & continued education in music, but as you said, could have been a model, which was exactly a part time job she had (and still does on occasion) when she was cast for an ITV "X Factor" ad as a "singer", acquiring her first manager & producer, establishing herself professionally as a legitimate singer. In fact most recently, she did her first runway, walking for Versace. *Dua, as you said, looks Barbie-esque here probably as a tie in to the film and Dua's role in it, as Mermaid Barbie (in blue hair no less). *The director of this music video, seen & heard at the end here, is Greta Gerwig, who is the director of the "Barbie" movie, where this song appears on the soundtrack. A noted actress herself (starting at 21, and director beginning in 2008, at age 24), Gerwig recently appeared with Adam Driver in "White Noise". *Dua ( born Dukagjin Lipa, say that five times fast) was born and raised in London, a first generation there of Kosovan Albanian parents. *Dua may have had some direction in music not only because of innate talent she's developed as a musician, but also because of her father, who is a gifted himself, as the lead singer of Kosovan rock band Oda. *Dua Lipa's mother's maiden name is Rexa. No relation to Bebe, who shares the same by birth surname, however Bebe is of Albanian descent, as is Dua through both of her parents lineage. *Kylie Minogue (you really should check her discography/videography out, including her latest song/video for "Padam Padam") a well known international artist with a successful career spanning 5 decades recently called Dua a "shining star" in Minogue's review piece when Dua was placed on "Time"'s 100 Next list on future 100 world's most influential people. High praise indeed, given Minogue herself is highly revered & admired by other icons, like for example, Madonna. Another musician, St. Vincent (who is an outstandingly gifted guitarist with a great discography/videography also worth looking into) noticed aesthetic similarities between herself and Dua at the time they were both slated to perform for 2019's Grammy awards , and did a glorious collaboration with Dua you definitely might want to see and/or react to called "Masseduction/One Kiss".

Dua is 27 yrs old she will be 28 in August actually before Dua was an artist she use to be a model but then quit because they wanted her to lose weight and she didn't like that

@@siiiiiuu7 Yeah her body was fine the way it was back then and still is I don't understand why they wanted her to lose more weight but it doesn't seem as bad now cause she has model now for companies like Puma and model for Versace so it seems like that isn't the same problem for her anymore.
