Being a bit older (52), I didn't know who Dua Lipa was really before learning of her songs via Julia. I was a big fan of Julia before, but now I'm a fan of Dua Lipa as well. And every one of Julia's covers are better than the original!

@modifiedcontent3 жыл бұрын
Dua's live bass player is effective but boring. The bass lines are created in the studio by her producers, mostly on keyboards and looped or copy/pasted. A hired dude then reproduces the lines live without adding anything. Maybe that is what Dua Lipa wants, but adding Julia to the process would add a new dimension to her music.
@ArjanYoyoman3 жыл бұрын
@@modifiedcontent You can call it "effective but boring". I call it "the bassline the song needs". What julia does in this video is pure entertainment. Its not an effective bassline at all. Way too busy and distracting. Im really sure that if Julia got hired as bassist she would do a simpeler line that these live and in the studio with them.
