Nope. They are charging independently so no need for one.

@@PoppaTInstall that's y its happening especially when ItS off .with isolator it will prevent the lithium from taking power from the other battery etc.,check out stinger 500amp isolator

@@PoppaTInstall battery delete or even better a xspower super cap,definately be what you need,but would recommend (2) limitless 12k in the future.could never have enough battery.n then get a redarc bcdc charging system expensive but best charging system out there far none even gas a option for using solar to charge your system n they make a monitoring system as well kinda pricey but well worth it

Nice video my G, I have a 2015 Yukon I’m running a Autotech 370amp Alt to my car and a CES 270 amp alternator to my 270amp alt. My question is how did you tap into the 12 volt ignition source to run your 2nd alternator? Also does the cyber 12k handle well with that alt and keeping your volts high when your going full tilt

Nice 👍. Sense wire is ran off a relay I installed. Cyber 12k recharge rate is outstanding! I drop to about 13.1v after 8-12 seconds full tilt but that's how I have mine set up for short demos.

Thanks for the quick reply. I meant to say I have a 270amp alt from ces that goes to my cyber 12k lithium battery. Which I have a SFB8000 amp and 4 Skar VXF 15’s D2’s My ces alt is internally regulated at 14.8 volts which matches the charge rate of my lithium. So do you think when I’m driving my volts will still drop to under 14?

@@larrykimmonsjr8041 Yeah it should some because you're depleting the reserve and the alt is constantly replenishing at full tilt hence the amp begging for power. However, it shouldn't at mid-level volumes as mine stay at 14.6 during this time of music play.

@@PoppaTInstall ok great info. I have a 2008 Tahoe that I’ll be doing some work on. Do you use ofc or cca for wiring. I have stock alternator and a xs d4800 what do you use now lithium banks.

When you hook them up, how do you isolate them from one another? That’s my main concern..

By the charge wires conceited to the stud. You wouldn't install them in parallel unless you have only 1 battery source. 2nd alt just need to be turned on.

How did you run the plug wires. Did you tap into the 1st plug.

NOOOO!!! Separate plug and wire to a turn on in the fuse box. Sense wire to the stud.
