I do feel like I have one of the best jobs out there. I did retire back in 2012 from the military after 26 years. I also owned a website design company after that for many years but I have so much fun doing this, I don't build websites for clients anymore. I do feel extremely lucky to be able to do this and I am having a ball. Thank you for the support and for watching my videos.

Ah, the classic dilemma: wanting something you don’t need! It’s like having a second slice of pizza-who could say no? Just remember, faster speeds equal more fun, but also more bugs in your teeth!

Great video, did you use both batteries to get the 32 miles of range or just 1?

I have a Jansno X50 which is sort of a similar setup and getting rid of the knobby's and going to street tires I was able to pick up a couple of miles of range just do to the lower rolling resistance. So that may be an option for someone who wants a smoother ride and it accelerates a bit better without all that rolling resistance. Add some cable actuated hydraulic calipers for some better stopping power(I picked up a set of DYISLAND XT-7's and it's overkill for the weight of my bike) and I believe this would be a very good option for someone who wants a budget friendly dual battery setup. With the street tires on there in the summer when the batteries are more efficient you may pick up a mile or two an hour on the top end as well. Don't worry about the forks not having cap covers you can buy them for like $6 I think I paid for a set when I lost one on a different bike. But I would cover up those tubes definitely. You could temporarily put some electrical tape just until the cap covers come in for now if you wish. You don't want water pooling in those forks. Excellent review as always Scott.

It's funny how what would have been thought of as good at one time seems less acceptable now. Mechanical brakes with a 160 mm rotor just doesn't seem to be enough for me anymore, even at a lower price.

I understand as I feel hydraulic brakes would be a nice addition to any bike that goes over 20mph.
