Fantastic job, figuring out the pattern and size without using a pattern. Amazing Stephanie!

What a very nice machine. Looks well cared for. Really dig the cast on comb design. Thanks for this video. I have a Turmix Unic on its way here as I want to sharpen my hand manipulation skills. Great video!!!

I haven't seen one of those before. It is so neat that your family has kept it this long, and in such good condition as well. That makes it very special

Thank you! It took a while to figure out how to use it. Because there is non like this around. So there are no how too's or instructions. Just trial and error. My Grandma knitted all her kids sweaters on this when they were all little. I have never seen this machine till now. Yes, Thats Ner ner. She loves yarn!

I must say, you really have a unique way of doing things, totally of the trodden path. But the result is *so* neat, especially doing the side seam via a reformed ladder!

@@ClaudiaArnold thank you! It was a challenge. I knit socks by hand, and was wanting a round sock knitting machine, but they are way too expensive. Then my dad mentioned this knitting machine thats in the family and no one was using it. So he got it for me. But there was no instructions on how to use it. And I wondered if I could make socks on it?! Once I understood how to use it, I started figuring out a sock pattern. Its not as easy and fast as the round ones. But I proved to myself I can do it. And all my Aunts and Uncles got socks and nostalgia.

What machine is this?

Its called "Dual-craft". We think it was made in the 40's or 50's. Made in Japan. Sold in Canada.
